Excellent Stay

5 of 5
There was a group of us that rented the house for the weekend. We found everything we needed to make our stay complete. The location is spectacular, the house is immaculate, and the views are wonderful. The rental set up is well organized and efficient. The home is perfect for a group of 8 or 10 people. Access to downtown St. Augustine was very easy and economical by taxi. We can't wait to make another trip. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Clean & convenient bungalow with hightech touches.

5 of 5
This 3 bedroom house is a jewel which met all of our needs. It's located on a quiet shady street, perfect for sleeping and socializing on one of the 3 porches. All 4 beds have very good mattresses fitted with clean and new modern linen. The bathrooms are bright with abundant coordinated linen and great water pressure. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and every imaginable gadget needed to cook gourmet meals. It is so easy to learn how to operate everything because the owners documented all the operating instructions in an illustrated guest handbook. The house is an electronic marvel with adjustable aesthetic lighting above & below counters, inside cupboards, behind crown molding, and outside for security. All switches are labeled. This home is an entertainment treasure. The TV is a state of the art flat-screen with a blue-ray player located in a comfortable media room. The large collection of DVDs could keep a family entertained for months. Classic board games and cards are provided for children, along with books. The location of this house is very close to restaurants and trolley stops. Although the house appears small from the outside, the floorplan has adequate spaces for both group gatherings and individual solitude. The 3 separate outdoor porches would also permit children to be separated from adults in the fenced in yard. The outdoor vegetable garden and live plants are well maintained and adds a nice domestic touch. Lots of dog walkers pass by while you are drinking coffee on the front porch. Parking for 3 cars is within the yard. Feedback about your guest satisfaction is activity sought and obviously acted upon because every imaginable detail is accommodated. Look for the dining tips and site seeing guides documented by the owners and guests. This lodging is worth every penny. We can highly recommend this home. We especially enjoyed these upscale restaurants: Columbia, Caps on the Water, and Henleys. We also liked Athena's Greek Restaurant. In terms of attractions, one only needs to charter a trolley ride for one day. We learned from a resident that the Old Town Trolley gives a more extensive tour with padded seats. Ripley's Believe It or Not is fascinating. It's convenient to park in their lot all day for free if you visit the museum. If you love the beach, cross over the bridge and head for St. Augustine Beach across the street from another good informal restaurant called Salt Life.

Fabulous beach condo

5 of 5
This condo was immaculately clean upon arrival. Loved the master suite, open floor plan, and the decor that Jean has chosen for the condo. She was very responsive to the questions and I had, especially since I was a first time VRBO renter. There is information at the condo with regard to restaurants and attractions in the area, which I found to be extremely helpful. Not mentioned was Wildflower Cafe, which is located in the strip mall right next to the condo complex. I had breakfast there several mornings - it's close enough to walk to from the condo, and the food is fabulous. You must try it! What I liked best about this condo is that it is located close to the beach, and yet just minutes away from historic downtown. You've got the best of both worlds!
