8 of us had a great 9 day family reunion (including beloved family members, chocolate labs bruno and bella) in the tarpon bay house. the property is on a corner lot with great sun exposure...pool and patio on one side, and a covered chill area on the intracoastal for seating, dining, grilling, and sunsets. the yacht parade is mind blowing...be sure to plan your at-home day sunday when they all come out and flex their wealth. lots of other rentals boast waterfront, which means everyday you look out and see the same boats parked across the canal that rarely move. their claim about seeing manatee is no b.s....we saw at least 50 in the shallow water right off the seawall, most passing by, coming up for air and leaving with a tail flip...sometimes they would gather around the barnacles and nibble off the plants growing there...contrary to popular belief they seem pretty strong, fast and agile although many bear the scars of boat propellers on their backs. the house is almost a throwback museum from the 60's and has a lot of character, so if you're the picky type looking for high-end everything it's probably not for you. we're a bunch of cool breezes so it was a great home base for all the things to do real close in FtL. just so you know, it's really 2 full houses stuck together with no inside access, they both do open up to the 2 sides on the water and have 3 beds 2 baths each. it worked great for us, we put the young ones on one side, and us old farts on the other. best of all, dealing with lynn smith was great, always cheerful, available and accommodating.

Super - All the way!

Just finished a great week at Perrys Perfect Paradise which fully delivers what it says. Arlene provided such good service when we did the booking. The house was very well equipped in every way and it was so nice to have the Perrys just next door to immediately taking care of those minor questions that always pop up when you find yourself in new surroundings! We would love to be able to come back one day!

Wonderful vacation house two blocks from New River!

Hi Patrick, We had a wonderful week in Fort Lauderdale. Your home met all our expectations and had everything we could possibly need for our time there. The weather was much cooler than normal but absolutely perfect for us. The house is in a perfect location for getting around. We made trips north to Parkland to visit our daughter and family, went to the Morikami Japanese Gardens which we enjoy, took in a food session at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, celebrated a birthday at Prime 112 in Miami, walked to dinner at the Pirate Bar and Grille, took in a movie, and did much walking around the neighborhood and area, even meeting Issac and his owner. Your open living area even afforded us great morning yoga time. It was handy having a remote for the garage. We also appreciated your binder which explained everything so well and offered much information. We returned to a minus 2 degree temperature this morning. Quite a difference! Makes us anxious for spring. Thanks again, Pat and June
