What a charmer!!

5 of 5
Not only was this my first stay at Rosemary Beach, it was my first stay in the adorableCotton-Carrigan Cottage. I can't wait to go back!! The layout of the cottage was so perfect for our small group, but I kept envisioning how perfect it would be for my family- adult children, spouses, and grand kids. The cottage was charmingly appointed with a casual, but oh so tasteful ambiance. Every time I opened a drawer or cabinet, it became apparent that the owners had thought of everything a family would need. I adored the front porch- and there was a matching second floor balcony AND a back porch with a picnic table. The front porch faced the common green area- perfect for children who needed to run off energy. The cottage was really close to Rosemary's Town Square, and every night, we would walk the short way to fabulous restaurants. The beach was most accessible too. I was intrigued by the whole concept of Rosemary Beach with everything being so close and yet you never felt like you were surrounded by crowds. I can't say enough good things about this residence. It was perfect and I can't wait to go back.

Great Weekend Get-Away!

5 of 5
We stayed at Derby Dunes over a long weekend to celebrate an anniversary and 3 birthdays. The house was beautiful and just as described. It was clean and inviting. We were only 6 in our group but there was room for several more. The open floor plan and large kitchen were perfect for cooking and visiting. The weather was ideal and we enjoyed dinner at both Havana Beach and Restaurant Paradis, both in walking distance from the house. The service was great and food delicious at both. We had one morning of construction noise (which will be temporary) and a couple burnt light bulbs, neither of which affected our stay. I would happily stay here again and would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Rosemary Beach.

Great for several families

5 of 5
I just spent several nights with our extended family here. We had 8 adults and 6 children (age 10 and under), with each family to a bedroom. We chose this place because of the two living spaces and private bathrooms for each bedroom and the proximity to the beach. My family stayed in the bedroom with two twins (there was plenty of room for our kids to sleep on air mattresses on the floor) and we were VERY pleased with our stay. We ate in for every meal, and were very satisfied with the abundance of cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. available. Publix is only a couple of miles away, which made daily grocery trips easy and quick. Seating was slightly limited in the dining area for our large group, but with 6 chairs at the table and 5 at the bar, we made do and also used the coffee table so that we could all eat together. There was plenty of cabinet space for all our food and "junk" which helped keep the common kitchen area nice and uncluttered during our stay. The decor is very modern and comfortable, and we really enjoyed all the signs and words on the walls everywhere. My 4-year old memorized the "There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs" as he walked up to our room each day! :) Some special touches that made our stay especially pleasant - the condo was stocked with indoor toys and games, movies, Netflix in each bedroom, radios and CD player (with a large collection of CDs), white noise machines, books to read, several beach chairs, pool noodles, and beach toys, etc. The beach is just a short walk down the street. We took a car with all our gear each day, and then walked back and forth. One of our families brought a wagon for the littlest kids, which was VERY helpful, as it is a fairly long walk for little legs in the heat, especially carrying towels and bags. For adults and older kids, it's not far at all. The wifi worked great (even on the rooftop balcony). We loved the pool and since there weren't any other people staying in the building while we were there, enjoyed our "private pool" several times a day! There's a walking/running/biking trail right across the street, as well as a place to rent bicycles if you wish. Possible Concerns: -The kitchen is on the 2nd floor, and the balcony is three flights up. If you have knee trouble or young crawlers or early walkers, keep that in mind. Suggestions for Improvement: - more hooks for towels & beach towels in the bathrooms Thank you for a great stay
