My family recently spent a week at Beach Villas. We chose this penthouse because of the location and we made the right choice. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach and within walking distance to all the stores, restaurants, and bars. We had 7 adults and a baby. We loved our stay in Siesta Key! This penthouse is magnificent. It is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It is in excellent condition. Since I had four young adults, it was nice to have two living areas - the living room and the media room. The layout is perfect with the master suite being on the top floor with the kitchen, laundry, half bath, and living room. The first floor consists of the remaining three bedrooms, two baths, and the media room. The media room has the larger TV and is great for young adults, having a small beverage refrigerator. There are plenty of bed linens, pillows, bath, and beach towels. Large washer and dryer to accommodate your needs. The beds are very comfortable. Your vehicles must be stored in the two car garage, which also has a beach cart, chairs, blanket, beach bag, and umbrellas for your use. The pool and jacuzzi was an added bonus. We enjoyed using both of them and we were the only people in the pool and jacuzzi all week. The owner, LaNita, and her helper, Randy, are wonderful people and did everything possible to make sure our stay was enjoyable. They take great pride in this property and it shows. Lots of steps! There is an elevator (more like a service elevator) that requires a key to use. Siesta Key Village is so quaint. It comes alive at night. We had two great meals at The Lobster Pot and Cafe Gabbiano. Cafe Gabbiano has fabulous italian food and service. Highly recommend this restaurant. We also ate at the Daiquiri Deck. Food was OK. I think this is more of an appetizer/drink establishment. We had homemade ice cream at Big Olaf which was really good. Ate breakfast one morning at Another Broken Egg. Food and service was fantastic! Shops are very nice as each one has something different. The local supermarket is good for small things and is open until 11 PM which is great. The prices are high though. If you need a big food order, go to Publix. Siesta Key Beach was amazing. Cool sand that falls right off you. Beautiful blue/green water was super warm and there was a sand bar that was really cool in the middle of the water. We plan on coming back to Siesta Key next year, and plan to rent at Beach Villas again!
