            Simply Wonderful!!!

            5 of 5
After doing much research on rentals in the area, I can assure you, the Pink Flamingo cottage is the BEST VALUE for your money! The cottage was clean and quaint! The furnishings were cozy and comfortable and the decor/color scheme must have been done by an interior decorator!!! Definitely had the charm of Old Florida and even reminded me of Key West. This was the best 4th of July I ever had!!! The cottage is conveniently located-we were able to walk to the park where the 4th of July was being celebrated and to great LOCAL shops, resturants and even a produce stand! Leslie, the owner, was very professional and friendly. She was excellent at returning calls and took a personal interest in ensuring that we had a great stay... providing suggestions/directions to local areas of interest. Sebastian was full of great surprises...we will definitely be back!!! Thank you, Leslie, for a great stay!!!

Very Nice Cottage - Great View

            4 of 5
This is a pretty cottage with beautiful views of the river. We spotted dolphins swimming in the river, bunnies hop across the driveway and a handsome peacock is strutting around next door. Our stay here was great - beds are comfortable and nicely turned out. They are in one common room downstairs, but that is often the case (I have found) with river cottages, and there is a partial wall between them so you don't wake up staring at each-other. Nice big bathroom with plenty of towels and good hot water and pressure. We spent our day with family, then came home to look out over the river, listen to frogs chirping (croaking?) and have a glass of wine before a good night's sleep. There is a small fridge and a freezer, and a good supply of plates, glasses, etc - although we didn't cook we certainly could have. We will rent this place again next time. And to the previous reviewer - ALL of the water in this part of Florida is stinky and everyone drinks bottled.
