We had a great time!

5 of 5
I booked a 7 day stay for my family and on the 7th day, it was hard to leave. We found the condo to be perfect for our family (my husband and I and our 13 yr old girl and 10 yr old boy). The condo was large and had everything we needed for the week. The wrap around, huge balcony had excellent views. We met a lot of very friendly folks and received some excellent shelling advice from a lovely experienced lady. We managed to find more that enough perfect shells to bring home. The condo / complex is very well maintained. It was easy to get to any place on Sanibel from this location. We loved having a washer and dryer within the condo. This was out first trip to Sanibel and I would venture to say it won't be our last. The only downside for me, the 'Noseeum' (sand flees). I reacted very poorly to these bites (came home with over 200 very itchy welts) and needed some steroids to treat them. Note though that my husband and 2 kids did NOT react to the bites. My recommendation to combat these, just bring some bug spray with deet and use it if you are out in the morning or at dusk.

We loved the unit and its location. Beautiful sunsets over Tarpon Beach.

This was our fourth time vacationing on Sanibel and the first time at Pointe Santo. Location is very convenient for walking, biking, beach activities and traveling about the Island. The complex is well maintained and secure. The listing description and photos accuracurately reflexed the appearance of the unit and ammentities. The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to cook in and the Master Bedroom and Bathroom were roomy and comfortable. iTrip and it's property management service was efficient, helpful and very responsive to our needs. We would highly recommend this property. The views are pictured correctly... water and beach from the lanai and master bedroom. Living room view is of the interior grounds, a relaxing large pond and garden setting. Would recommend two restaurants. Our favorite Restaurant is Doc Ford's. This year we tried The Lighthouse, just off the Island. Also excellent. We come to Sanibel to relax and enjoy it's natural beauty. Pointe Santo de Sanibel defitnitly fitted our needs.
