THE BEST

Everything we needed and more. Quiet and comfy. Try the Owl Cafe in town. We ate there every evening.

COZY AND QUIET

5 of 5
We had a very nice and relaxing long weekend. Cozy one bedroom cabin on a very nice riverfront property. Fished from the dock and along the rivers edge, very nice firepit to hang out by and used the grill quite a bit. Although neighbors are somewhat close by and its not too far from civilization, it still had a very private and secluded feel and we never left the property. Never did use the kayaks or canoe either but they were available, maybe next time. I have no complaints well none except for those stairs, think I ran up and down those stairs at least a hundred times in the few days we were there. All in all, we had a lovely time.

PEACEFUL PARADISE AT ST. MARKS

5 of 5
This is our second trip to St. Marks retreat. What a beautiful place to relax and get in touch with your inner-self! The cabin is cozy, secluded and has all the comforts of home. It is generously supplied with everything you need. We enjoy grilling out on the gas bar-b-que. We love the screened in porch and enjoy being serenaded by the birds as we drink our morning coffee. Carolyn and Floyd are gracious hosts and wonderful people. They supply you a book listing all the things in the area to do. The book is not only informative but very humorous!! FYI--if you are in the mood for barbque, be sure to stop and eat at Dickeys Barbque Pit in Woodville. The food is incredible and the service great. For those with an adventurous spirit, the Retreat is within short driving distance of hiking and biking opportunities at the St Marks Wildlife Refuge, Tom Brown Park and the St. Marks bicycle trail.
