Wonderful vacation house two blocks from New River!

5 of 5
Hi Patrick, We had a wonderful week in Fort Lauderdale. Your home met all our expectations and had everything we could possibly need for our time there. The weather was much cooler than normal but absolutely perfect for us. The house is in a perfect location for getting around. We made trips north to Parkland to visit our daughter and family, went to the Morikami Japanese Gardens which we enjoy, took in a food session at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, celebrated a birthday at Prime 112 in Miami, walked to dinner at the Pirate Bar and Grille, took in a movie, and did much walking around the neighborhood and area, even meeting Issac and his owner. Your open living area even afforded us great morning yoga time. It was handy having a remote for the garage. We also appreciated your binder which explained everything so well and offered much information. We returned to a minus 2 degree temperature this morning. Quite a difference! Makes us anxious for spring. Thanks again, Pat and June

Two Thumbs Up!!

5 of 5
Everyone in the group raved about this beach house. The furniture and bedding were all new or seemed like it- something we have seldom found in larger home rentals, but for our group of pickier females, it was noticed and appreciated. There were 4 children under the age of 4 and the house was perfect for us- two pack and plays, a highchair, Maclaren strollers, baby gates, pool toys, and a sleeper in the master bedroom that we did not realize was there. The pool was a good size, while we enjoyed the pool area as we were grilling out and having a family ping pong tournaments. The location was great- we were about a block from a church with a large playground that had play areas for our little ones and another area for the older ones. The beach access was walk on level and directly across the street. This was a life saver for us as going up and down stairs with beach gear and babies is not easy. There was a great coffee shop and restaurant a block away. Destin area had great shopping for the girls and golf for the guys. We didn't end up going deep sea fishing but hope to do that next time. I would recommend this house and Destin to any one traveling with children.

Great Rental Property

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time staying for a week at King Triton's Palace. It's a terrific house for family gatherings, and even better equipped than we were expecting. I think everyone in our party was impressed. If you have young kids, there is no better place to stay - children's books, toys, movies, games, equipment (strollers, high chairs, booster seats, kid's dinnerware, etc.). We were thoroughly impressed by the house's ammenities - even better than the listing suggests. It was so much nicer staying at this house over any hotel. It's convenient to all the Disney parks - no more than 15 minutes to the Magic Kingdom transit area, and even less to Epcot, Disney Studios, and Animal Kingdom. It's very convenient to a grocery store (only a couple minute drive) and many restaurants to choose from. Our group included 9 adults and 4 children under 5 years old. The house was spacious, and we didn't feel crowded at all. My 5 year old daughter has already informed us that the next time we go to Disney we will need to stay in that house again, and my 2 year old usually is excited to be home after a trip, but was screaming when we walked into our house because he wanted to go the the other house instead.
