My boyfriend and I were traveling for his birthday and a last minute babymoon! Though we weren't able to check-in until 4p (which is the actual check-in time), they took our bags and we went off to enjoy the day. We would have went up to the roof-top pool but it rained all day. Upon getting to our room, I was pleasantly surprised! I did see the pictures posted on the listing but hotels/owners are notorious for posting angle-enhancing, photoshopped pictures that make the rooms look bigger, cleaner and newer than they are - not the case here! The room was true to the pictures, and then some. We had a full kitchen with an electric stove top AND dishwasher (though we didn't use either). I reserved a one-bedroom suite and it was a true one-bedroom (there was a door separating us from the living room/kitchen). The bed was extremely comfortable, and possibly better than my bed at home. The rainfall shower was a dream and hot water flowed freely. It was wonderful having an apartment with all the luxuries of a hotel - bellman service, housekeeping, front desk. Just an hour or two after check-in the front desk manager came up with a birthday cake for my boyfriend. I was thrilled - it was the perfect first impression. Aside from the room, the location is excellent. A stone's throw from the beach and all the restaurants and nightlife that Ocean Drive has to offer. It can get loud at night, but I expected that being we were right on the strip. To me, this wasn't an issue and we fell asleep easily and slept soundly. The rooftop deck is small but has an amazing view of the beach - get there EARLY for a lounge chair. There were other amenities that we didn't utilize, like the complimentary check-in drink and complimentary happy hour from 5p- 6p. As far the people, it was a mixed crowd - great for couples or a group of friends. Will absolutely stay here again.
