Better than being at home!

5 of 5
All the comforts of home in a pristine natural setting. 3 Palms is well appointed, complete with all amenities on could desire for an enjoyable holiday for a large group. The property is located in a very quiet area about a 5 minute walk down a sandy path to the beach. It is also close to the beautiful beaches and bays of Cape San Blas, and the towns of Port Saint Joe and Apalachicola. All you need to do when staying at 3 Palms is to bring your food and clothing, the property has everything else (kitchen, linens, pool, beach, fish cleaning supplies, wifi/cable TV , games (horseshoe, shuffleboard) and more). There are 2 refrigerators and a washer/dryer, so you can bring plenty of food and do laundry when needed. There is plenty of space and sitting areas in the home, porches and around the pool deck to enjoy time with the group or to have time alone. The properly was very clean and nicely maintained. When we arrived, we immediately felt at home. The owners and property managers were helpful, responsive, caring, kind and eager to please. Beautiful place and location for our family reunion, our family ranged in age from 2-76, we all were super delighted with our stay. Staying at 3 Palms was truly better than being at home!

Truly A Summer Dream!

5 of 5
If you want to a retreat from the hustle and bustle, this beautifully decorated home in this perfectly quaint little town will allow you to do just that. The home is so tastefully decorated and equally inviting from the cozy front porch swing (wear I slept many hours away) to the openness of the living room/kitchen area which is simply wonderful for a large group. Not only was Summer Dream a spectacular place to gather with a group, but there are so many unique areas inside and out to capture a few moments of alone time or to snuggle up with a good book. I always have a hard time finding a great place to vacation with our dog and this was perfect. The screened patio makes the perfect dog trot and the beaches were not only magical for me, but my lovable yet energetic weim could have ran the shoreline for hours. The well manicured bike paths were peaceful and beautiful & the locals were kind and genuine and put a smile on your face every time. The holidays as well as good food, good wine and good friends is the reason we stayed at Summer Dream and for years to come I will not only cherish the memory of our stay at Summer Dream, but I look forward to creating new ones as we intend to make this our go-to Florida vacation home.

Convenient, clean, not typical beach rental

5 of 5
Immensely enjoyed staying in Monika & Seig’s beach home in Beacon Hill, FL! Stay felt like a 2nd home rather than a beach rental. Hope that they continue to rent this home. Location: 2 blocks walk to clean, spacious, beautiful beach on gulf side. Residential neighborhood < 1 mile from heart of Mexico beach. (Bring wagon or cart for chairs, umbrellas) Surroundings: Immaculately clean throughout, fully loaded kitchen, washer/dryer, breakfast room off of kitchen & den is full of natural light, nice & cozy formal dining & living rooms (we did not even use), shower downstairs, full bath and 3 bedrooms upstairs Highlights: little nooks for rest & relaxation (front, side & upstairs patios). Hubby loved the grill. Outdoor shower. Hanging out on the beach (2 blocks from house) you can hear live sing-along music on Thursday & Friday around 6pm). Dolphins & pelicans plentiful. Young Children: loved their room, Disney Jr. (1 tv in downstairs den), raccoons visit the sliding glass door every evening for feeding (1 even knocks), carport to play on, yard to run in, loved “helping” pull the wagon to their beach, to avoid sunburn visit beach 8am-10:30am & again 6pm-sunsest, flash lights for chasing crabs, watched Disney Jr. after lunch while adults RESTED & RELAXED, Carpeted stairs are great fun for toddlers & preschoolers. Mommy Tips: Bring gates for top & bottom of stairs if you want to relax with mobile babies. The 2 living room couches are a pretty white. To protect them from little messy hands (and faces ?) we covered with sheets. Out & About: Restaurant < 1 mile (Toucan’s) has playground outside on beach. Kids can hang out in the beachfront windows or color during dinner. Port St. Joe (several miles by car) has a pirate playground & pavilion. Hubby & I relaxed in the adult swing under a huge oak tree overlooking the bay. Watched pelicans, hawks & people collecting seafood. St. Joseph State Park (35 minutes by car) $6 per day has gorgeous gulf beach, bay side for collecting living things, deer throughout, play ground, pavilions for picnics. Eating seafood out can be pricey for lean budgets, sandwiches plates around $10, seafood plates $20+. We purchased seafood from markets and cooked out on Seig’s grill. Lemon, butter, and a little seasoning make it delicious. Looking forward to visiting again!
