great location

5 of 5
This home is beautiful! Perfect location, right across from the beach. nice quiet neighborhood. I didn't fully read the contract, oops, but you definitely have to bring your own toliet paper and dish soap. Unusual for short term rentals, but it was in the contract, so my fault when we arrived and i headed straight for a bathroom unprepared :-) quick trip to the store fixed that! Shopping was so close by. I would recommend this location. we were in town for a funeral and the peaceful surroundings and private pool area helped in finding serenity.

Loved it

5 of 5
We loved the comfort and layout. The house was perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. We normally stay in timeshares, but this time wanted to bring our fur kids with us. We loved sitting on the lanai viewing the canal and watching the fish jump. One of our dogs fell in the pool a couple of times checking it out, so we put the screened enclosure up to keep them away from the pool. The house was very clean and supplied with everything we could think of that you would need. We used the charcoal grill when we did not eat out and had dinner on the lanai. Don and Laura have a book with places around the community and about the house which includes maps to 2 different hospitals in case they were needed, how to work the remotes which came in handy, and some menus from area restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda is great for shopping and dining. Harpoon Harry's and Village Fish Market both are great. Harpoon Harry's is by the dock and you can sit and watch the dolphins play while eating, they even have a doggie dining area. We will be booking our next vacation soon.

Family Vacation

5 of 5
We just returned from a Holiday week at the "Lake House". We were there with our extended family. The house was terrific - the layout was great, room for everyone. The pools and hot tub were very inviting and overlooked the water. The house had lots of extras, beach chairs, beach toys, paddleboat. The kitchen layout was easy to work in and was well supplied. It was an easy drive via Rt. 75 to visit the Edison Estate in Fort Myers, Sanibel, Myaka State Park and Fisherman's Cove in Punta Gorda. Mike and Ellie were delightful to work with, and we're readily available to help make it a great vacation.
