GREAT HOME. PERFECT LOCATION.

5 of 5
We recently stayed in St. Augustine for a family wedding. The house was perfect. We were in walking distance to all of the wedding events. The house is very well kept and the owner made the process easy. The Floridian Restaurant is the best in St. Aug. It is only a two min walk. Thanks for a great weekend!

COZY, CLEAN, MODERN, AND WELL STOCKED

5 of 5
First impression when I drove into the rocky driveway was "Wow! This is the nicest whimsical looking cottage ever!" It's a hidden gem unlike any of the other surrounding properties. Upon entrance, you can feel a sense of calm and peace. A very open floor plan that is not too large but perfect for invoking that cozy cottage feel. I loved the modern kitchen area that was open to the living room and dining area. It was well stocked with everything except aluminum foil and ziploc bags...not a negative, but making a point of how well stocked this place is with everything you need to eliminate any worries that you forgot something. The washer and dryer closet is stocked with detergent and dryer sheets. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms had the bear necessities, but bring your own toilet paper in case what is there runs out since there was none stocked in the supply room. Parking in the downtown area is very difficult to find, so be forewarned. That is where the bikes in the shed came in handy. It was great to stroll through the area unhampered. The cottage is about 15 minutes walking distance if you don't want to ride the bike or drive. We stood three nights and it wasn't enough. There is just too much to see and do in St. Augustine. Museum prices are reasonable and were great to visit when it rained on our last night. We enjoyed eating at Pizally on St. George Street each night. Their pizza is pretty good, as is there pastas, cheesy half moons, and selection of wines. End the night with dessert at Kilwan's. I regret not doing the trolley tour. It stops at all the sights and allows you to get off and back on throughout the day. It's worth spending to do that. We barely spent enough time at the cottage, but it was great to come back to unwind and get a good nights sleep. I'm looking forward to returning next year!
