Excellent Home

5 of 5
I entertained a group of customers here during the GA/FL game and the house was perfect for our needs. This was perhaps the best view and closest to the beach I have ever been. You are practically on top of the ocean. The great thing about the house is the space you have inside and out. You can fit a large group comfortably in the rooms as well as the common areas. We spent most of our time in the kitchen which was spacious enough for cooking, football watching, and a game of cards. As far as the space outside the full length deck was a perfect place to lounge overlooking you personal stretch of sand. In addition, with no other homes to your immediate right, you practically have a few hundred yards to yourself. The physical location of the house is about 20 min south of Ponte Vedra where we also played golf at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club. A phenomenal (and challenging) 36 hole golf club, that will allow you access if you purchase a 3 Day temporary membership through the club/pro shop. About 5 miles south of the house is a very big Publix which made our lives a lot easier when stocking up on snacks, ice, etc. The convenience element that I did not take into consideration until we arrived was the accessibility to St. Augustine. A 15 min drive south and you drive right into downtown with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and sight seeing. If you have never been to St. Augustine, definitely go visit. It is a very cool and entertaining little city. Lots of history and plenty to do. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away and enjoy some personal beach time. I have stayed at plenty condos and visited too many public beaches to know that you cannot beat having your own strip of sand. Not only is the house a great piece of property the owners are reliable and easy people to work with. Enjoy your stay!!!

beautiful home

4 of 5
What a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The home, however, is aging and needs some maintenance to be called a luxury rental. The abundance of cracked and broken tile speak to settling issues with the house, but the worn carpets, broken pinball machine, broken built in blender, broken lamps, broken phone and a gas grill that must be started by hand, are some of the maintenance issues that detract from the beauty of this spacious home right next to pristine Ponte Vedra beach. With some TLC, this house can again justify the high prices charged.

Wow.

5 of 5
This was our first vacation rental experience and I can't imagine they get any better. Charlene has thought of everything and is very easily available. The pool man visited on Friday and cleaned up the leaves in the pool. The kids loved playing in the hot tub and with the puzzles she had available for their specific age group. There were movies and games and even staples in the pantry. A waffle maker, sandwich press, immersion blender, three hair dryers, pool towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, soaps, charcoal, wood chips, matches, a gas grill, a charcoal grill, an outdoor fire pit, an indoor fireplace, down comforter, extra blankets, pillows, a blow up air mattress, a sofa bed (the sofa was more comfortable), golf carts, bikes, washer/dryer, wine, EVERYTHING! We are very happy campers. Thanks, Charlene.
