A pleasure enjoyed completely........

5 of 5
We live in a bit of paradise on the northern tip of Door County WI. As much as we love it here...the winters are getting colder as we get older so we decided to spend the month of January in the subtropics of south Florida this year. In our long search we found this home and after speaking with Ana (the owner) we knew it was the right one. The home is located in a working neighborhood, quiet and friendly and a short distance from one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. It's a comfortable, clean, well furnished home. The kitchen is easy to work in (important to me) with all the things you need to cook and dine well. The bedrooms (beds) were very comfortable so our nights were restful...good nights sleep so we were ready for the next days adventures. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There was even a washer and dryer.....very welcome. The house is only a few blocks from 2 major routes, Tamiami Trail (north/south) and Immokalee Rd (east/west) making it very easy to get anywhere....shopping, eating, entertainment and of course BEACHES. We spent time in Old Naples and the Naples Pier. We went fishing with A&B Charters out of Tin City (awesome). We went to Naples Botanical Garden twice and swam at the YMCA lap pool 3 times a week or more. We explored south through the Everglades and north through Bonita Springs, Estero and Cape Coral. One day we spent the day at the Thomas Edison winter retreat in Fort Myers....an amazing day. We walked several beaches from Sanibel all the way down to Naples Beach and found Vanderbilt beach, right there within walking distance, to be the best of them all. It was all we anticipated...more then we expected. We even had the pleasure of meeting Ana and Renee (the owners). Gracious and warm are words that come to mind when I think of them and we wish we could have spent a little more time with them. Come to that...I wish we had booked through February. Oh well...maybe next year. All in all, our time at Azule was wonderful and I would recommend the hospitality and comfort of this lovely home to anyone. Thanks Ana and Renee for sharing .....we loved being there. Linda and Earl

Good location. Tranquil setting.

You never really know how a place will look until you get there. What the neighbours will be like and how safe the area will be. We liked this place the moment we walked in and looked around. It a lovely outdoor area which was screened in and an fenced outdoor area. We had our dogs with us so it meant they didn't have to be tied up outside when we were out there. The pool area was lovely however the water was too cold for us to swim in. Being that it was about a mile from lovely beaches we didn't care about the pool. It was very close to groceries and shopping. The neighbourhood was safe to walk around in and I did a lot of walking! The only thing I didn't like was that there was no washing machine or dryer. Going to the laundromat was inconvenient. They had a clothes rack so you could hang your stuff out to dry if you wanted. There was a bottle of really nice white wine in the fridge when we arrived which was welcom since we had a long drive from Canada to get there and appreciated just sitting out the backyard, looking out into the lagoon at the birds and turtles and sipping a nice cold glass of wine. We would stay again. We recommend Loving Hut restaurant in Naples. We are vegens and the selection of food and taste was excellent for any diet. Good prices and friendly service. Go to Delnor State park which is just a mile away. For $6 you can park all day. We went back and forth from the house to the park throughout the day. No dogs allowed on the beach but they are allowed in the park. It is a fantastic beach with no houses or hotels so you will see lots of pelicans and other birds and we saw dolphins every day just off the shore.
