A pleasure enjoyed completely........

5 of 5
We live in a bit of paradise on the northern tip of Door County WI. As much as we love it here...the winters are getting colder as we get older so we decided to spend the month of January in the subtropics of south Florida this year. In our long search we found this home and after speaking with Ana (the owner) we knew it was the right one. The home is located in a working neighborhood, quiet and friendly and a short distance from one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. It's a comfortable, clean, well furnished home. The kitchen is easy to work in (important to me) with all the things you need to cook and dine well. The bedrooms (beds) were very comfortable so our nights were restful...good nights sleep so we were ready for the next days adventures. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There was even a washer and dryer.....very welcome. The house is only a few blocks from 2 major routes, Tamiami Trail (north/south) and Immokalee Rd (east/west) making it very easy to get anywhere....shopping, eating, entertainment and of course BEACHES. We spent time in Old Naples and the Naples Pier. We went fishing with A&B Charters out of Tin City (awesome). We went to Naples Botanical Garden twice and swam at the YMCA lap pool 3 times a week or more. We explored south through the Everglades and north through Bonita Springs, Estero and Cape Coral. One day we spent the day at the Thomas Edison winter retreat in Fort Myers....an amazing day. We walked several beaches from Sanibel all the way down to Naples Beach and found Vanderbilt beach, right there within walking distance, to be the best of them all. It was all we anticipated...more then we expected. We even had the pleasure of meeting Ana and Renee (the owners). Gracious and warm are words that come to mind when I think of them and we wish we could have spent a little more time with them. Come to that...I wish we had booked through February. Oh well...maybe next year. All in all, our time at Azule was wonderful and I would recommend the hospitality and comfort of this lovely home to anyone. Thanks Ana and Renee for sharing .....we loved being there. Linda and Earl

Nice Appartment - Attentive Owners

4 of 5
We stayed in the appartment january-february 2013 for a winter escape from the cold north. The Reserve is not a real holiday resort, but more a normal resident condominion area. Topfloor appartment, quiet neighbours. Sourroundings well organized and well kept. Area large enough for a 15 minuts walk. We did not use the pool-area etc. much, but it seemed rather well kept. When sunbathing we experienced the furniture around needed to be cleaned (greasy and some dirty). The appartment is well equipped, has good beds and well-functioning kitchen. Bathrooms normal standard for an appartment of this type. The view to the lake is unbeatable and the top level, south orientation gives much light. The owners are really attentive, responsive and responsible. The only drawback to this nice appartment is the US-75 only 200-250 yards away. Our own appartment in Europe is at a street with high trafic load and we have of course 3-layer special windows etc., but none of the appartments at The Reserve has any noise dampening devices. For people living in central parts of big towns, this might not be a problem, but for us, it meant, that we did not use the nice patio and moved to the 2nd bedroom (which in no ways was bad), which is more protected, than the master bedroom. We can really recommend this appartment, also for longer stays. Margit and Henrik (65/70) seniors from Europe
