A GREAT PLACE TO STAY...

5 of 5
A very relaxing place to stay, with a lot of room for 4 people. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. Quiet and lovely surroundings. The rooms are very clean & it is nicely decorated. A great spot to explore the town with its nice restaurants and bars. Flagler ave has a lot of nice shops, bars, music, festivals and the street leads right to the beach. We had a great time and we will surely rent the cute little cottage again!

BEAUTIFUL BEACH HOUSE!

4 of 5
We arrived at this cottage pleasantly surprised that the house was everything that we imagined. The decor, layout, and amenities were perfect for our family of four. The closeness to the beach was very appreciated with 2 young children! The wagon in the shed that already had beach chairs and umbrellas packed was wonderful! We loved the outdoor space and enjoyed being able to watch our kids play on the grass while we were in the house or on the balcony. The nights were quiet and we enjoyed listening to the ocean waves as we sat on the balcony. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay close to the beach and enjoy area.

LOVINGLY RESTORED OLD FLORIDA CHARMING COTTAGE

5 of 5
I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the 50's and remember the pristine, untouched beaches of my youth and the idyllic lifestyle small beach towns fostered. This cottage and the beach town of New Smyrna Beach was reminiscent of that time and more.!!!! The cottage is esthetically pleasing both inside and out. Starting with the lush landscaping to the wide covered front porch to the outside Caribbean color motif. The Landlord's attention to detail is meticulous and the inside of the cottage is equipped with every conceivable item you might ever need. The kitchen, dining room, bedroom, living room and laundry room is abundantly equipped with everything...and I mean everything. All you need are your clothes and a toothbrush. The landlord's decor is a blend of old Florida with contemporary "beachy" flavors, that immediately makes you feel like you are in a tranquil tropical paradise. The landlord supplied all linens including beach towels as well as beach umbrellas, chairs, beach toys etc. As I said earlier.. they have all the bases covered. My husband and I traveled along the east coast of Florida from Fernandina Beach to Miami, looking for a SAFE beach community. One that was bicycle/walking friendly, with a variety of restaurants and cafes, having unique retail stores, and national known grocery stores. The a local live theater, great health food grocery and public tennis court were pleasantly surprising amenities . We also were concerned that the beach community was populated with families and retirees. The ONLY community that fit this description was New Smyrna Beach. The ocean is absolutely beautiful with it's wide sugar sand beaches, perfect for walks or just people watching. The public beaches are staffed with lifeguards 7 days a week as well as bike, umbrella, chair and beach toy rentals. You do not have to leave the beach if you are hungry, beach side restaurants/cafes and food venders are within steps. In closing, I feel the best selling point of this cottage, was the most gracious, hospitable and extremely accommodating attitude of the Landlord. My husband and I were so enamored with our phenomenal stay at the cottage that before we left, we booked for the entire month of December. I can not recommend a more warm, cozy and homey accommodation in all of New Smyrna Beach.
