What I look for in a rental home in the keys is an affordable, good located, clean home with amenities my family wants and with a HELPFUL owner/manager. This home most definitely had it all. I love that the manager lives next door. We had no problems whatsoever but the peace of mind that she was next door was huge for me. We have stayed in other homes in the keys and being the "dad" who books everything, worries about everything and wants so much for my wife and 2 children to have the best vacation they have ever had, was at ease with this ownership/management. Even with a change in ownership prior to our arrival, Susan (the new owner) phoned me while we were there to make sure all was good. Which I greatly appreciated. The home was just as advertised, pictures, amenities, everything we needed was there. We loved every minute and was fabulous to not worry about anything but where we would fish or dive next! Thank you, thank you. Just sorry I didn't purchase this home before Susan got to it. See you next year!

Unprecedented Accommodations

Everyone involved agrees that it was the perfect choice. The house itself is located at the end of the street so auto and foot traffic was non-existent. The grounds were larger than expected, and beautifully maintained, and the house could not have been better furnished, laid out, or equipped. The common areas were big enough to accommodate the entire household but the layout facilitated a more intimate feel when breaking off from the rest of the group. We could easily have 3 or 4 separate groups spread out and still feel as though we, practically, had the home to ourselves. The indoor pool was amazing. It was big enough for an elaborate pool party and also offered the children a wonderful failsafe in the event of inclement weather. The doors to the pool would beep when opened (child safety), in furtherance of the well equipped and thought-out design of the home. All in all, you could not go wrong with this home. If I had a complaint I would mention it, I don't.

A bit of paradise in Marathon

My wife and I along with our grandson, daughter, son in law and 2 friends of theirs stayed in Casa De Luna the 3rd week of March. In a word our stay was outstanding. We have stayed in similar villas in Europe and the Caribbean and this met or surpassed all our expectations. First of all the house itself is first class across the board in terms of luxury and appointments. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, 2 with balconies overlooking the pool. The open concept living, dining and kitchen area is wonderful with high-end appliances in the kitchen. There is a terrace overlooking the pool area across the entire back of the living area and is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon drinks and candle lit dinners. The outdoor spaces are large and completely private. The house itself is located on a cul-de-sac in a very quiet upscale area along Sombrero beach, which has no thru traffic. There are 2 supermarkets, 2 pharmacies, 2 liquor stores and a number of great restaurants no more then 5 to 10 minutes from the property. Andy, the owner, is very responsive and makes the entire rental process easy and straightforward. It’s easy to see why this is a 5 star rated property. If you are looking for a beautiful location, in the middle of the Florida Keys, you cannot do any better than Case Luna in Marathon.
