PARADISE TOO - FABOULOUS FAMILY ADVENTURE!

5 of 5
Patti’s place and the island were wonderful! This was a great vacation for our family. We brought our jet skis and this is the perfect location. The house is located in a protected canal and within just a few minutes we could be around the island to the beach side on the jet skis. If you have a boat, spending time on the sandbar between the islands is a must. Water was warm and wildlife abundant. The walk to the beach was not far, passing only 2 houses to get there. It was fun to walk the island but renting a golf cart for a couple of days would have been fun too and something to do next time. Because you can only access the island by boat, it feels very safe and keeps the crowd to a minimum. We quickly fell into beach mode, spending the morning hours at the beach, eating our main meal and napping mid-day, and out in the ocean every evening. The house functioned well, it was very clean and well kept, and the new flooring was nice. I especially enjoyed the large screened in patio area. We cooked meals such as hamburgers, steaks, seafood, spaghetti, and pork with fresh vegetables and potatoes and the kitchen did have everything we needed. Recommend packing light as there is a washer/dryer and keeping food simple. We would definitely do this again and would love to come back next summer. It was a fabulous family adventure!

GREAT GETAWAY!

5 of 5
The condo was very comfortable, furnished and decorated nicely, and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to visit again. The beaches were beautiful and fishing was good. We enjoyed the serenity. We would certainly recommend it to our friends and in fact already have. Everyone on the island was very friendly. There are a number of good restaurants close by and there was a Publix close too.

WE LOVED SEAFANZ! IT'S THE PERFECT, RELAXING SPRING BREAK VACATION FOR LOW KEY, ADVENTURE SEEKERS!

5 of 5
We have just returned from a week long stay at Seafanz. Our group consisted of 2 moms (left the hubbys at home), 2 elementary aged kids, and 2 middle schoolers. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful week and that is exactly what we received! The kids enjoyed the beach and the "woods" while the moms enjoyed not having to entertain the kiddos! With zero traffic, we were able to let the kids explore and play football outside until nightfall; which they promptly came inside, bathed, and fell asleep :) Each morning, we took the kids on the golf carts to scout out the numerous Osprey nests and the baby birds were always waiting for us, as well the box turtles! It was VERY cool to be in a place where you felt as if you were the only ones there. The WiFi was greatly appreciated by the kids -and moms- as was the satellite cable. We were AMAZED at the well stocked kitchen!!!! Diane provides every pot, pan, slow cooker, measuring device, etc you need to prepare your meals. Condiments were there, also. I couldn't believe it! When people tell you to pack light...take their advice. The washing machine and dryer are provided so that you will not have to pack heavily.Of course, we brought TOOOOO much stuff.Since NO ONE will see you on the beach, you only need a bathing suit or two--no need to impress anyone with a new suit each day!The Obermeyers provide towels, so no need to pack those either!Seriously, after lugging our bags back and forth, we both decided to only bring backpacks next time (and we are pretty much girlie-girls).Really, that is all you need as far as clothing! Food: we packed 2 large Tupperware type storage containers--remember we have kids--full of snacks and easy to prepare meals. We also packed our coolers with frozen meats, milk, cheeses, drinks, etc. I would suggest packing more food than you think you would need, if travelling with youngsters. We had plenty, though! Leaving: we decided to leave the island for a day trip. We really should have just stayed put, to be honest. We drove to Ft. Myers for lunch and a bit of shopping. We would not suggest doing that...it was expensive to leave and come back, the drive was at least an hour one way, and it was just "ok" shopping. Fisherman's Marina (or Wharf...something like that) is a good stop. Lastly, our hosts were PERFECT! The Obermeyer's are incredibly nice and helpful. Diane checked on us and was kind and lovely. They provide sooooo much and the house was perfect for our needs.
