Comfortable Home close to LBTS

4 of 5
Four adults and four children (11, 8, 8, 3) stayed for a week winter break Feb 2015. The property was very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Although Sandra allows up to 10 people, I think more than 8 would feel crowded. We really liked that there are two rooms with King sized beds; that is hard to find. While things are a bit dated, it is still a nice place - especially the pool area. I think she could upgrade some linens/pillows and her showerhead in the main upstairs bathroom needs to be replaced. Also note that the queen sized bedroom is a smaller room off the kitchen and next to the laundry room. It was a great private area for an 11 year old, but I would not recommend it for a couple. The location is easy walking distance to the beach and supermarket. We did not have a car so this was very convenient. It is also not too far to town, about a 15 minute walk. We found it a tad too long with a toddler, but definitely doable. There is a really nice playground on the way. There are some decent restaurants in LBTS, but they can be pricey. The ice cream shops are the best! There is a beach cart, some beach chairs and umbrellas plus sand toys galore for the kids. Note that she has a puddle jumper floating device for a child stored in one of the cabinets in the laundry room. There is a good selection of dvds (and games), but you cannot watch more than 3 TVs at a time. With kids of various ages, it was a minor issue at night. Her kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed cooking dinners there. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and considering the weather was not great, we were at least happy to be in home where we felt at home.

Everything you need!

5 of 5
This is a wonderful unit that has everything you could ask for- great location to walk to plenty of restaurants, short walk to the beach, nice pool area, bikes, tennis, and the lovely decorated and comfortable accommodations, just to name a few! We enjoyed our stay at Su Casa by the Sea especially because the owners are so friendly and helpful. They really add charming details that add a warm and personal touch to your stay. I would recommend this unit for a couple that wants a relaxing getaway in a quiet neighborhood.

A little piece of paradise!

5 of 5
Booked a (very) last minute girls getaway and was fearful we wouldn't find a place to stay at a moment's notice. Thank goodness this home turned up in our search! It is heaven. The house looks brand new, everything was comfy and spotless. It is on a quiet street, removed from the busy hotel area and very tranquil. The kitchen is amazing. We mostly ate out at the local restaurants (we were dying for asian food and the recommendation for Basilic was perfect!) but just had to cook one big meal in the huge kitchen (can I live here, please?) :) The pool heater was a godsend as it was a little cool in the mornings. So nice to take a dip before breakfast! Between the pool and the beach, I am completely waterlogged! The beach was just a short walk. Maybe 10 minutes and we're slow walkers! So nice that they provide a wheelie to get chairs and other things to the beach. As we were the first guests to stay in the house, the owner Steve and the property manager Chris met us at the house. Both so nice and helpful. We had a few questions about how to operate the stereo and the barbeque and they responded right away. Their booklet and map of area attractions, places to eat, parks was so helpful. We loved the boat tours on the area rivers, but mostly we stayed local. The town is such a lively little beach town. Total bare sandy feet in the ice cream parlor kind of place. Loved that the front door has a keypad, no keys needed! Never saw that before. Loved it and can't wait to come back! Barb
