First of all let me say the location was awesome. The views from the balcony are simply amazing. The grounds and pool were well maintained and beautiful. However there were several problems with the apartment, some were major and some minor. Some surge protectors or extension cords behind the bed so a guest can plug their cell phone and other electronic devices in would be useful. Proper fitting blinds and/or curtains on ALL windows would be helpful too. The power outlets in both bathroom vanity areas worked intermittently at best. I had to hold the plug in place while my wife dried her hair. There was no bulb in the master bath over the toilet ( I put one in). The windows in the apartment were filthy; but the doors to the balcony were the worst. The lack of comfortable and functional patio furniture made it difficult to enjoy the amazing views. There was a tarp left on the balcony from a previous renovation. There were 2 plastic chairs and a small bistro set on the huge balcony, that was it. When I tried to use the washer machine, I couldn't put the detergent in because the door was blocking it. The second bedroom wasn't "made", there were no covers on the bed and they were just thrown in the floor. The lack of wifi is a serious disappointment and "Internet" was advertised in the rental ad, so it should work. There were no lights on the deck. The ice maker in the fridge isn't working as well. Also I'm a stickler for details, the paint and spackle jobs were terrible and some of the upgrades were done poorly (moldings not lining up, open storage in the bath not classy, broken tiles in the bath, etc). Also there were numerous drip marks and missed paint areas. Lastly I would also recommend to tell your renters where all the amenities are in the compound (i.e.: fitness center and tennis courts, etc) we had to hunt it find these and maybe some suggestions for places to eat, shop and such in the local area. Just a suggestion though.
All in all I would recommend staying there though.
