Functional property that met our needs

4 of 5
The home is extremely functional and met our needs well. The amenities are as advertised. The home is very open and spacious. We had 7 people staying at the house, and the home comfortably accommodated us. There are two factors that caused my rating to be 4 stars rather than 5. First, the home is equipped with additional deadbolt locks on each door that can only be unlocked from the inside. Though I understand this is an additional security measure, it makes it easy for someone to lock themselves out of the house. If both deadbolts are locked on the front door, and the guests leave through the garage, they are locked out. This happened to us and cost $80 to have a locksmith get us into the garage. While this is our fault for not checking the front door, the management company was absolutely no help as they had no way to get into the garage, ie., a garage door opener which would have saved the locksmith call. I would recommend that enhancement as I'm sure this will happen again to someone. Second, the mattresses are not comfortable at all. They are either cheap or old, but in any case uncomfortable. Fortunately we were generally exhausted when we returned each evening from long days at theme parks. I would recommend upgrading the mattresses.

Tigger's Hideaway was perfect for our family!

5 of 5
Our family was looking to rent a home with a private pool that was reasonably priced for our vacation in April. Tiggers Tree House worked perfectly. It had all of the comforts of home and more. The foosball table and pool table were an added bonus. The place was clean and the only thing that was not great were broken vertical blinds. There was screen missing in the lanai from a storm a few days before our arrival and it was repaired on Monday. There was a charcoal grill that was an added bonus. The neighborhood was quiet. There was a ravine in the back so it was nice not to have another house behind us. There was dishwasher soap, garbage bags, laundry soap, toilet paper, etc to get you started. They just asked that you replenish what you use. A grocery store was close by so that was no problem. The house is also close to Disney and Universal attractions. Our lives are so busy, we were looking for a place to swim, relax and just have family time. This house was perfect! We did go on an airboat ride, visit Universal, shop the outlet malls and ate at Kobe Hibachi. We hope to return!

Guestbook Comment

We have just booked our holiday again for the 4th year at Bills Villa. That should say how much we enjoy it. This is just a wonderful area to spend your vacation, quiet, clean, close to everything, but still lots of privacy. Our family has grown and we now have 2 grandchildren, who will be joining us, they'll love it. The free long distance is a great asset to us. Thanks Bill for sharing your home, It now feels like our 2nd home.
