EXACTLY What We Were Looking For !

                5 of 5
Awesome place...highly recommended ! Four couples, in our 50's and 60's, used the Red Roof to meet for a reunion weekend. The place was PERFECT for us... The stairs were a bit intimidating, until we discovered a freight lift to haul our bags, beer coolers, and food stuffs to the upper level. The huge table and the well-equipped kitchen worked perfectly for us. We put the nice gas grill and grill mat to use for our "Grill Night", which is a "tradition" at our reunions. Even though the weather could've been better, we spent most of our time out on the spacious decks, just chatting and getting caught up with each other's lives...EXACTLY what we wanted to do !! The property manager/owner was a delight to work with...answered all my stupid questions before we arrived. Be advised...there are no horses (that we saw !), and there is no beach, but there are a ton of birds and scenery to keep you occupied ! Also, cell phone coverage is spotty to non-existent...didn't bother us ! We just turned our cell phones off, which is why you come to a place like this in the first place ! The owners do furnish a land line, as well as wi-fi internet access, so if you CAN'T relax, and just HAVE to check your email, you can do so... The MAS wants to make this our "permanent" annual reunion spot
