My family of 4 arrived at the Crow's Nest on a Saturday evening...and from the moment we got there until the time we left the following Saturday morning, we were not once disappointed! It is even more beautiful and private than the pictures show..the plants and trees all throughout the place were just beautiful and provided a lot of privacy and created the tropical island feel..there were cute little lizards that my kids enjoyed finding and watching..the pool was perfect for us and we tried to use it every night after being at the beach most of the day...Amy was super helpful any time I had any questions, and very quick to respond..even though the other 2 rentals were occupied, we really felt like we were alone in our own little piece of paradise. The place was extremely clean and the kids loved the spiral staircase with the loft...it felt like a little hide away for them. The laundry room was super convenient, right under the stairs with an extra toilet/shower just in case. It was so nice not having to travel with extras since this place provides beach towels, plenty of chairs for adults and kids, boogie boards, a cooler, umbrellas, and a wagon to tote it all in. It's about 200 yards from the beach, and within walking distance to the trolley stop. Spinakers is on Holmes Beach, which in my opinion after a week of exploring Anna Maria Island, is the quietest and cleanest beach on the whole island....there are cute little shops that are locally owned, people riding their bikes or golf carts around, people running along the sidewalks....to my family this was paradise...no obnoxious drunk college kids yelling or running around...just retired people and young families....the beach was not crowded...which was nice....I can't say enough good things about this place and our experience...Oh yeah and in our cottage was a little photo book with information about the local restaurants and things to do, which was a great help for us since we had never been there....we plan to return to this same location next year and will probably make this our yearly vacation spot from here on out....if we could ever make it happen, we would live on Holmes Beach; we did not want to leave!
