Nice place

5 of 5
The house was very clean and the owner told us some of the great local places to eat. Great eating was within 5 minutes of the house. Views were great from the deck watching the boats pass by. Fishing off the dock was okay for march. We had the best luck driving our boat around the canals catching Jacks. The dock was a little small but big enough for my 17ft center console. We would take the boat out to the gulf (10-15 minute idle boat ride) to watch the sun set over the gulf most afternoons. We also brought kayaks and enjoyed paddling through the canals. We saw dolphins in our canal a couple times. The neighbors are friendly too. It was a great family experience and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and do some fishing.

Exactly as described, comfortable, spotless, quiet

This was our first Home Away adventure, and it was exactly as described. The property was lovingly cared for, and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the use of the garage to store our outdoor gear and park our car. The home sits right on a canal which feeds directly to the Gulf of Mexico. We watched the parade of shrimp boats pass by each afternoon, then drop off their catch first thing each morning. Although the home is situated in a very quiet section of Hernando Beach, there was more than enough, within a short drive, to keep us busy for our month. We enjoyed taking our bikes to the nature preserve, which was just blocks away. Dozens of golf courses are within a short drive. Our awesome landlords, Robert and Nicole, suggested eating at The Cove Restaurant on Shoal Line Blvd. What a special treat that was for our group! Each menu item was carefully chef designed and delicious. Our visit to this area of Florida was lovely from beginning to end.
