Cozy, pet friendly home!

5 of 5
Have been staying in this lovely little house the last three months while waiting to close on our own home. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. Helen, the owner has been very flexible and accommodating. Property has a great fenced yard for our dogs and is only one block from Stetson law school. I can avoid the heat and walk my dogs late at night on the well lit, security patrolled campus. The beach is just down the road and has cute little shops and restaurants. They have had several celebrations downtown since we've been here. Very friendly town and a nice family atmosphere. Loads of things to do within the St. Pete and Tampa area: the zoo, Busch gardens, Sunken Gardens, etc. A great place for a family vacation!

Second Visit as Great as the First

5 of 5
We spent our second vacation at Richard's charming beach house and had as much fun this time as we did the first. It's in a great location, both with-in the town of Gulfport and also in the greater St. Peteresburg area in general. It's little more than a walk to the shops and restaurants in town and only a short drive to St Petersburg, Bradenton and all of the surrounding areas. The house is spotless and we feel very at home here. We had everything we could possibly need from towels and linens to pots and pans. Richard certainly thought of every detail. We travel with our dog and this house is not only pet friendly, but it is pet oriented. There are dog bowls, bags to clean the yard and even the doormat said "Woof." The TV is amazing, like being in a movie theater and the back yard is gorgeous, especially at night. Overall, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of Florida's Gulf coast and we look forward to going back again.

We love The Florida Funk!

5 of 5
We absolutely loved this property! The owner, Nancy, was easy to communicate with and returned emails quickly and offered suggestions for local attractions. We arrived at the house and found it in exactly the condition depicted in the photos. It is much larger than we expected and had a fully furnished kitchen, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day of our trip and never came across anything we didn't have. We enjoyed the screened in patio every morning and evening! The house is very comfortable and decorated in an eclectic manner that we loved!! The house is located just a couple blocks from the beach, a park, a dog park, the community library, and local restaurants and shops. There is also a grocery store within a few minutes drive from the property. It was a quite area and still plenty close enough to downtown St. Pete. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience!
