Wedding Parents

We just had the pleasure of renting the Gommer House to stay in Gulfport for our daughters wedding. The home is spectular and the appointments were way above expectations. We were met by Paula the house keeper who showed us the house and made us feel like we should make it our own home. Folks, it just dosen't get any better than this. Right on the beach, 1 block to downdown and a personal review of all the restruants and shopping from Mary the owner. We really appreciated the little extras and we will for sure rent the property again soon.

We love The Florida Funk!

5 of 5
We absolutely loved this property! The owner, Nancy, was easy to communicate with and returned emails quickly and offered suggestions for local attractions. We arrived at the house and found it in exactly the condition depicted in the photos. It is much larger than we expected and had a fully furnished kitchen, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day of our trip and never came across anything we didn't have. We enjoyed the screened in patio every morning and evening! The house is very comfortable and decorated in an eclectic manner that we loved!! The house is located just a couple blocks from the beach, a park, a dog park, the community library, and local restaurants and shops. There is also a grocery store within a few minutes drive from the property. It was a quite area and still plenty close enough to downtown St. Pete. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience!

We stumbled across Seascape on the internet, made a reservation, and thoroughly enjoyed our week in Gulfport. Minutes away from just about everything Florida has to offer, this quaint neighborhood is like Florida used to be, but rarely is anymore, and Seascape is an important part of that offer. Don't miss a stay in a bit of historical Florida, in a historic home. You won't regret it. We loved it so much, we did a virtual tour for Suzanne, be sure to ask to see it.
