Comfortable Home close to LBTS

4 of 5
Four adults and four children (11, 8, 8, 3) stayed for a week winter break Feb 2015. The property was very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Although Sandra allows up to 10 people, I think more than 8 would feel crowded. We really liked that there are two rooms with King sized beds; that is hard to find. While things are a bit dated, it is still a nice place - especially the pool area. I think she could upgrade some linens/pillows and her showerhead in the main upstairs bathroom needs to be replaced. Also note that the queen sized bedroom is a smaller room off the kitchen and next to the laundry room. It was a great private area for an 11 year old, but I would not recommend it for a couple. The location is easy walking distance to the beach and supermarket. We did not have a car so this was very convenient. It is also not too far to town, about a 15 minute walk. We found it a tad too long with a toddler, but definitely doable. There is a really nice playground on the way. There are some decent restaurants in LBTS, but they can be pricey. The ice cream shops are the best! There is a beach cart, some beach chairs and umbrellas plus sand toys galore for the kids. Note that she has a puddle jumper floating device for a child stored in one of the cabinets in the laundry room. There is a good selection of dvds (and games), but you cannot watch more than 3 TVs at a time. With kids of various ages, it was a minor issue at night. Her kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed cooking dinners there. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and considering the weather was not great, we were at least happy to be in home where we felt at home.

Everything you need!

5 of 5
This is a wonderful unit that has everything you could ask for- great location to walk to plenty of restaurants, short walk to the beach, nice pool area, bikes, tennis, and the lovely decorated and comfortable accommodations, just to name a few! We enjoyed our stay at Su Casa by the Sea especially because the owners are so friendly and helpful. They really add charming details that add a warm and personal touch to your stay. I would recommend this unit for a couple that wants a relaxing getaway in a quiet neighborhood.

Mesmerized

5 of 5
We were mesmerized here by comfort and beauty indoors and outdoors. Two hundred or less steps to the beach path which has a shower for comers & goers alike. Across a bike path that can offer you a whimsical ride anytime you want. (Note, down on Dania beach before the pier is a handicap blue mat that is unrolled out to the edge of the sand.) Going to the beach and going back to Las Casas, multiple times on a daily basis offered much beauty in both environments. Airy, spacious, sky (rooftop terrace), ocean views peace & quiet. You can catch a sunrise & sunset from the roof. Coffee & wine times. If you can get out of thee most comfortable beds or? a tub that resembles something out of the Wild Wild West yet made for Lovey Howell. Bike to Hollywood Broadwalk to eat, or walk to Dania Pier for a bite. Bike to John Lloyd State Park or up over the Sheridan St. bridge to Ann Kolb Nature Center. These are short rides on not needed gear bikes which there are four of to use. As well as beach chairs, umbrella, and towels. Here is where Hollywood Beach meets Dania Beach (not crowded at all) luxury meets simplicity and heaven meets earth. I hate to say it, but, 'wicked'! nice. Back to Boston we went to return for sure. Oh, and the elevator in the house for every need. And can be used as a dumb waiter or to transport a smart waiter. And at the Custer st. beach path on Fri, Sat and Sun from 3p-7p, this section of the beach is opened for all dogs to run free. We didn't have a dog but went for the entertainment. Worth every bit of no cost unless you bring your dog then there is a tiny fee.
