PAPA'S 90TH!

5 of 5
We came from around the country to celebrate my dad's 90th b'day. We've been coming to this area, to his home (Coconut Creek) for 35 years but who knew lurking behind a plain, typical south FL house (just a few neighborhoods away) on a very quiet street was this gem of a family get-a-way retreat? And, it's around the corner from our latest favorite seafood restaurant to boot! The house had everything we needed and more: space, nicely appointed interior, magnificent outdoor area (pool, tikki hut, boat dock, gas grill), fully equipped kitchen, arcade games, children's play area and tons & tons of mangos! It accommodated 7 adults, one 4 yr old and one toddler nicely (though be aware that you have to be super conscious of the children as the pool and dock area are not fenced). Just outside of the subdivision is a Publix so for those that know when you rent a house, food shopping is a priority, it was a breeze to stock the kitchen quickly. We made a party for my dad and invited local family and friends of his (16 in all). As each entered the front door and made their way to the center of the house their eyes grew wide with surprise as to how beautiful the scenery was through the wall of floor to ceiling glass. We all felt like we were off on a tropical vacation. This was the first time we've rented a house and actually met the owner (Claude). He was very welcoming and responsive to our needs. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

WONDERFULLY COMFY, RELAXING. WE'RE COMING BACK.

5 of 5
Our trip to Deerfield Beach was nothing short of excellent. Coming from Chicago, it was a much needed respite from the daily grind of city life and freezing temperatures. The villa we stayed in was easy to access from the airport, and is within a mile of downtown Deerfield Beach, which has several charming restaurants, a Publix grocery store, shopping, and best of all, a fantastic yoga studio, American Yoga. We were pleased to find the villa not only charmingly decorated with warmth and class, but also extremely clean and comfortable to live in. Each room has a ceiling fan, which was nice if you didn’t feel like turning on the air conditioner. The kitchen contains just about every utensil/cookware you could ever need, which was great for making breakfast and lunch and taking it to the beach. Best of all, the property is a 3 minute walk to the oceanfront. You simply cross the street, follow the sidewalk, and you are on a private beach that is decorated with complimentary tikki huts, tents, lawn chairs, and tables. Each day we were up at dawn to catch the sunrise and watch the waves with a mug of coffee in tow. Lunches were enjoyed underneath the tikki hut; we were lucky enough to “claim” the same one each day. Daytime was spent relaxing on the beach and swimming through the enormous, invigorating waves until just before sunset. Around dinner time, we would head over to Oceans 234, a wonderful restaurant with a fantastic menu. We were particularly fond of the clams and lobster mac and cheese. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner before retiring home early, so we could be up at dawn the next day. It was a wonderful, peaceful week. Special shout-out to our maid, who was efficient and kept the place tidy and organized. It was great not having to lift a finger to clean the house all week! We returned to Chicago with sunkissed skin and renewed health. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend this place more for someone looking to escape on a quiet, beautiful beach in the South of Florida.

AMAZING PROPERTY

5 of 5
What a fantastic property and location. Directly oceanfront in Lauderdale by the sea with top of the line appliances and furnishings. We could not have been happier with the property, location, and by the sea vacation rentals. Jason, from by the sea even came over to assist us during our stay. We have just booked with by the sea again. You will not be disappointed!
