This was our third trip to SW Florida. On our first trip we stayed in a hotel. Second trip we used rental homes. Now, this third trip, we stayed here at Villa Aurora.
As we drove to the house from the airport, the drive was longer than anticipated (it looked closer on a map though I did not get the time from Google maps or the like in advance). Also, the quickest route to the house shows you some neighborhoods that not desirable. Once you head into the neighborhood for this house, that impression of Lehigh Acres changes some. Just realize you are at least 30 minutes from I75, and that being to the east so it just takes longer to get to the beaches, waterpark, Fort Myers, etc.
The pictures provided, though not deceiving, do not give a good idea of the house layout. When you walk in the house, you see the open floor plan common areas (living room to the right of the entry at the front of the house, dining to the right at the back of the house, kitchen straight ahead at the back of the house). This part of the house is clearly shown in the pictures. The house has a "split" plan. Meaning the master bedroom and bathroom are on one side (to the left as you enter) and the two guest bedrooms and the (pool)bath are on the other (to the right of the common areas).
The bedrooms are good sized and the beds were comfortable. Both bathrooms were somewhat narrow and long. There is no bathtub in the house, only showers. The kitchen was well equipped for the cooking we chose to do. The house was clean when we arrived, and looked nice.
The owners were very responsive when we reached out to them. On the Sunday we were there, the pool pump had died. Fortunately we had other plans, so it did not effect us. They had someone out on Sunday to look at the issue, and the pump was replaced on Monday. They appear to have good support for the property.
Overall impression, if you are looking for a vacation home to stay in, want to keep the cost down, and don't mind driving, this is a great place to stay.
