Fantastic house with the best view possible!

5 of 5
We are a family of 7 people and needed a big house with things for the kids to do. This house looked very nice and had all the amenities that we needed. After sending out about 11 inquiries to different properties we decided to book this house. The owner answered all our questions quickly, was very polite and kind wich made us decide that this was the house for us. Arriving at the house six months later after having made the reservation, our chins dropped. The house was absolutely amazing! The pictures doesnt do it justice, i tell you! We loved every second of our two weeks there and will definitely book this house again if we go back with the kids. Perfekt location, near the Ft Myers beach, the town... just perfekt! And sitting out on the dock during the sunset watching dolphins swim by... well thats just priceless. A special thanks to Keith that bought a chair for our 1,5 year old son, very very nice of you to do that Keith. We really appreciate it :) I give this house and the owner the highest grade possible and would recommend this house to everyone! You wont regret it! :) Sorry for the late review Keith, unfortunately a very busy autumn here. With kind regards Louise with family from Gothenburg Sweden

Perfect!!

**We actually checked in 12/25/11 but the form wouldn't let me backdate that far. My 3 brothers and I stayed here at Christmastime a couple years ago with our families. It was a wonderful experience. Loved the house, the pool and the beach. Except for a couple trips to Publix and couple dinners out, we were thoroughly content to stay in the whole week! The guest house space allowed one family some extra space + kitchen that they needed at the time. The pool and beach access were very secure and safe for our young kids and the kitchen and grill were more than adequate for preparing dinners in. There was a little confusion over our check-in day but the property manager went WAY out of her way to sort it out.

Beautiful place, beautiful location ... just plain beautiful !!!

I was about to only give this home a four star review, but then I realized it was my fault and reconsidered the highest rating. The idea that the spa didn't work because the batteries in the remote might have been dead. Didn't have a screwdriver to fit the remote (aggravating types of remote requiring the need of a screwdriver just to change the batteries!". But then my wife pointed out that if I wanted bubbles in the spa, I should call the owner who probably would have been happy to take care of it ... so I digress. 5 Star it is~ Not their fault since they told me many times to let them now of anything that was out of order there. So there you have it. My wife was difficult to tame when at first we arrived; she went over everything with the 'white glove' inspection (she's a clean freak) and because we expected my two grandkids over for the weekend and one of them is only 8 months old and crawls, she wanted a super clean environment. Finally she smiled and conceded that this home was one of the cleanest she'd seen. In fact she admitted she could not have done better. As for me, I wanted quiet and nice beach side cottage to unwind and get some work away from home done (as an inspiration of sorts). Seems this home provided all that and had enough room for two grandkids and their parents. Of course the beach is a few blocks away and the scenery is spectacular both at the beach and out at the poolside. The second story balcony overlooking the pool with it's dining table was a special place I will remember always and the telescope my grandson and I set up to watch the satellites and the moon and stars at night were special. My grandson told me he wanted to be here next year ... so I guess I'd better consider that and his deal to me is the best of grades for the end of the next school year and to practice longer on violin. I loved the the ease of making my welcome possible by way of the elevator and getting my son in law and daughter (grand kids too) a way in and out without the repeated climbing of steps. I would certainly recommend this vacation home for people with disabilities. One of the other highlights were treating my family to a few nights out on the town and to dine at Doc Fords and meeting with a fellow author I'd been looking forward to seeing. This is a great family get-together rental home. My recommendations would be for couples over the age of 50-55 that can appreciate the area and its amenities during a time of off season when it is quiet.
