Little Palm for Christmas!

5 of 5
The first night we arrived, I sat on the deck with my 17 and 10 year old boys and watched the sun set. The first time they had ever seen such amazing beauty! Ahhhhh. I am missing this place already. The house itself was clean, well organized and decorated, and STOCKED! In past rental homes we had to go out and buy all of our supplies (dishwasher soap, laundry soap, paper towels, beach towels, disposable silverware/plates, etc.) We really felt like we were the guests of this property owner and did not have to buy any of this stuff. Washer/dryer were like new and came in handy with 4 kids and 2 adults. Husband and older kids loved the big tv! Younger 2 and mom lived in the "yard" and beach! Great views, handy to have Mike, the rental guy right off the patio. He set us up with chairs and umbrella everyday, as well as arranged parasailing. This home is far enough away from the crazy "Town Square" area, but close enough to other shops and restaurants. We drove everywhere, so did not get a chance to ride the "trolly". Roxanna was available via text if we needed her. Everything was as described, which is something you always are concerned about as a renter. We only have a few suggestions. My husband was looking forward to spending his time in that hammock that was in your photos, but we didn't see one anywhere. Also, the house is tucked away off the road, which is great, but we did miss it several times during the week if we weren't paying attention, as did the food delivery man! Maybe a bigger "Little Palm" address sign would be helpful for future guests and delivery people! Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us!

Our Favorite Place!

5 of 5
My family and I have stayed here 4 times now over the years. It is absolutely amazing! We have 4 children and it has been a blessing to enjoy this with each of them. We go through our family pictures now and then and its amazing to see each of my 4 children "grow up" in that house on the beach. I was on here to book my next one but the week I was going to stay is already taken so I'll have book very early next time. Absolutely awesome experience each and every time.

A piece of heaven on earth

5 of 5
The Island house is beautiful inside and out. The location is perfect!! You have privacy in your own back yard yet are so close to everything. If this house could talk it would say, "Welcome to Paradise, come in and relax! " Every room is so nicely decorated. Our 16 year old son especially loved the surf board on the wall above his bed!! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and all of the tropical foliage that surrounds it. It is perfect for cooling off on a hot day.The decorative touches and colorful pottery add to this tropical backyard paradise. It was fun watching the pelicans dive into the canal for fish!! We enjoyed having such a well equipped kitchen. The grill just outside the door was also great for grilling up the fresh grouper and delicious gulf jumbo shrimp which we purchased at the local farmers market. Just a short walk away. We did not need a car for anything. We rode the trolley to lovers key for 50 cents and found a ton of beautiful seashells. Stopped at Publix grocery store on the way home and stocked up on groceries for the week. It was hard to leave such a wonderful place. We will cherish the great memories of the island house and hopefully create new ones in the future. Three cheers to Barby and Jeff for creating this little piece of heaven on earth!! It was just perfect in every way. Thank You so much. The pictures of this house are great...but being there in person is even better!! I would highly reccommend it to anyone looking for an extra special get away!!
