Great Place to Stay in Clearwater!

5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay here in Clearwater! I stayed with my husband and son and it was just the right size for the three of us. The condo is just as advertised - close to the action, yet tucked away on a quiet street by the bay. It was nice, clean and affordable. Everything we needed was provided including a beautiful pool right outside our door! We really enjoyed the use of the beach umbrella, beach chairs and small cooler for our trips to the beach. The umbrella was a necessity in the hot July sun! We were able to walk to many places from here, including Pier 60. We walked down there in the evening to enjoy the sunset and were also entertained by street performers and enjoyed the many artisans and crafters selling their wares along the pier. We also walked to IHOP, Gondolier, various shops and an ice cream shop by the Clearwater Beach Hotel. Publix was a short drive away on Island Way. We purchased a few things there to save on eating out. The kitchen was well equipped with whatever you might need to eat-in. Other places we visited were… Sand Key Beach – nice, quiet beach; $5 to park there; found some nice shells there; short drive over the south bridge. Honeymoon Island – approx. 30 min drive north; nice, natural beach; $8 admission; searched for shells first on the north end, then came to south end to eat and swim; realized later that where we were sitting on the beach was right by where they filmed part of Dolphin Tale; beach was a little too rocky for our tastes to swim in – wear water shoes Clearwater Marine Aquarium – happened to visit when the actor/actresses from Dolphin Tale were there and got to see them; took the Sealife Safari Cruise (worth the extra $); saw Winter and Hope The only thing I wish we would have had were bikes, so if you are driving there, I would definitely bring them along. There are plenty of areas to ride. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Our host, Bob, was more than accommodating. He called to make sure we got in ok and helped us out when we needed him. Caretakers, Cindy and Van, were on-site, and available to assist if needed. This was our first time using home-away and I was nervous how everything would work out, but everything went smoothly! Easier than checking into a hotel and more amenities too! Thank you, Bob!

Exactly as described.

The condo was just as it was described. Third bedroom a little small but other than that it was very nice. The gulf out front was lovely and the sunsets were awesome.

We loved the condo. It was exceptionally clean and decorated so beatifully. It was the perfect location as far as the beach and being able to walk to resturaunts. The owners are so nice and very helpful. The condo was perfectly equipped with evening that is needed. We hope we can stay here again someday.
