We had a wonderful time!

5 of 5
We were in town for three days for a wedding, and didn't want to stay in a hotel. This cottage is adorable, and is within walking distance of everything. Just one block off of the main drag, yet very quiet. There was only one bathroom to share between 5 of us, but we used the shower at varying times and we had no problems with that. We used the two smaller kayaks by stacking them on the kayak wheels and walking them a short three blocks to the water. I would recommend renting a van/mini-van if you plan to use all three kayaks, however, you can get by by using the wheels , and a wagon that is on the property. We also used the two available bicycles to putter around the town. There are so many interesting cottages and charming properties in Gulfport. Very eclectic and fun decorating styles. A true "Old Florida" town. I hope it always stays that way. Everything you need is in the cottage, including suntan lotion, hair dryer, etc. it was so nice not to have to run to a store for little items we forgot to bring. They were all there. If we return to Gulfport, we will definitely stay here again.

Great location, so clean and well managed.

We were greeted by Kim and her husband and felt so welcome. This place has everything a family would need and more. Kim is always available for help, and we truly feel this home made a memory our family will never forget. The home is a super place and the owners have really thought of everything one might need on a vacation. They even had enough beach chairs for our family of 5. Thank you so much, we loved our vacation!!!

Cozy and quiet

5 of 5
We had a very nice and relaxing long weekend. Cozy one bedroom cabin on a very nice riverfront property. Fished from the dock and along the rivers edge, very nice firepit to hang out by and used the grill quite a bit. Although neighbors are somewhat close by and its not too far from civilization, it still had a very private and secluded feel and we never left the property. Never did use the kayaks or canoe either but they were available, maybe next time. I have no complaints well none except for those stairs, think I ran up and down those stairs at least a hundred times in the few days we were there. All in all, we had a lovely time.
