This is truly a palace!

5 of 5
Breathtaking is an understatement in regards to this estate. From the time you approach the entrance gate, you are greeted by beautifully manicured landscaping that leads to the home, with such impressive architectural design. The photos of the kitchen do not do it justice. It is so spacious that a family of 12+ can gather very comfortably. The pool area, gazebo and lake are so inviting that you do not want or need to leave the property. Dara has been extremely cooperative and accommodating. He will do anything he can do make your stay exactly as you wish.

Charming Bungalow in Convenient Location

4 of 5
This charming bungalow has been carefully restored and furnished to replicate the period in which it was built. However, one aspect of the furnishings, which are quite lovely, is that there are no light fixtures sufficiently bright for reading, which can be trying. The proprietor supplies lots of lovely amenities (shower gels, soaps, etc.); lists of attractions and nearby restaurants with descriptions and contact information; and, a thoughtfully stocked refrigerator with initial amounts of basic provisions. Also, there are an amazing number of small appliances available for the preparation of various types of meals. However, one curious omission is that there was no microwave, which made re-heating items difficult and was inconvenient. Access to a washer and dryer was very handy and a big plus. Once the WiFi service was repaired, we had a lovely stay in a very interesting part of the city. The woman who was our contact for any questions, could not have been nicer and went out of her way to be helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My mother's 90th birthday vacation

5 of 5
My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay in this darling cottage in Gulfport, Florida. We could not get over how every comfort of home was provided. The home was immaculate, very well maintained and in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Gulfport's wonderful array of restaurants, shops and entertainment were literally steps away. We ate most nights nearby taking in everything from italian sausage for lunch to fine dining at night. Each was a wonderful experience. Being an artist myself, I highly appreciated the creative energy and eclectic feel of the coastal community. I would most definitely recommend this property and plan to return as soon as possible. Alex and Paula were wonderful and very responsive to getting the rental secured. They handled everything well. Thanks to both of you for making our visit "home" so wonderful.
