Very good but a couple things need attention......

4 of 5
The location was great. Excellent walking beach. The house is very well stocked, so very comfortable. Master bedroom view is awesome. A few things need attention.....who ever stayed before us must have had long black hair which was everywhere. In bathrooms, in the laundry room, on bed linens and on rugs....it was gross. Felt like the check in/check out turn over was not sufficient for thorough bathroom cleaning. Spots on the wall in the bathroom downstairs which I removed with paper towel and they were clearly blood...ugh. For what we paid, a thorough clean of bathrooms is not an unfair request. Also, the white towels and rugs need to be refreshed....gray/dingy and worn out. Makes you feel like you are the 1000th person to use them. Overall, all else outshines these issues but had these been addressed, it would have been stellar.

Just do it already

5 of 5
My family and I recently rented this house and although the price tag may seem like a lot for a week, when you do the math on what it would cost to stay in the local beach resorts, it's a great value for 6-8 people. The views and wildlife alone are enough to ensure you will have a great trip. We were graced each day by amazing sunrises and sunsets, Dolphins, Great Blue Herons, Iguanas, pelicans, just to name a few. Plus the fishing right off the dock was incredible and lost track of how many different species we caught. This house has everything you need and is conveniently located close to anything else you might want. It was tough to leave the pool area each day! If you're looking for a place to simply relax and just enjoy the scenery and your company, just do it already. p.s. We named the Heron that came to the house each day Larry.

Love the location, love the pool, love the view!

5 of 5
I took my teenage grandkids and two of their friends ( 6 total) to this tropical waterfront home. Best decision I ever made. The place is very open with a beautiful master suite on the top floor..away from everything, if that's what you need. Two other bedrooms are on the main floor with plenty of couches to sleep on in the living room. Great kitchen with bar area that can sit six or more. We even had additional family over and never felt crowded. Wrap around deck overlooking the canal is perfect. We all loved the pool, the decks, the tiki hut with the hammock, tv and bar area, and the kayaking. The house is tucked away but still very close to grocery store and to all that Tampa has to offer. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has problems with climbing stairs. It is an upstairs unit. The owners live below but the place is built so that noise from either unit is not heard. I highly recommend this little tropical paradise(decorated as so) to anyone who is willing to climb a few stairs to heaven. Maureen
