A beautiful home that exceeds all expectations

5 of 5
From the moment we arrived to our last day this home was beautiful, spacious, very well appointed and with an great floor plan for a large group. The furnishings and household equipment were in excellent condition. The atmosphere was tranquil both inside and out. Would love to return again for another visit and would recommend it highly.

Great home for a Disney vacation

5 of 5
Over the past three years, my family and I have stayed in several timeshare condos near Disney World, including the Blue Heron, Sheraton Vistana, Grand Beach Resort, Grande Villas, and four area hotels. By far, this home provided the most comfortable stay. We were here for two weeks at Christmas. Beautiful weather in the upper 70s and low 80s. It was great to come home after fighting the crowds at the parks and relax in the pool (we paid the extra fee to heat it). The Internet service when we arrived was horrible. But a few days later Emerald Island did a resort-wide upgrade. Now it's excellent -- you can stream music, movies, whatever. The home and kitchen are fully equipped--my wife prepared a large, delicious Christmas feast. (Kitchens in the timeshares always seemed to be missing something, like a wire whisk, spatula, or cookie sheet.) I had a couple of questions during our stay; Sully, the owner, was always prompt and attentive. We can't wait to go back!

Excellent house and perfect for visiting Disney!

5 of 5
We just came back from having an amazing time at the "Relaxing Retreat" property! Everything that is described in the listing is exactly as it is in reality. The house was clean and ready for us when we got there, the resort (Emerald Island) itself is really beautiful and safe, the house backs on to conservation area so you have privacy (many houses in this resort do NOT have this feature), and you are so close to everything....Disney, restaurants, grocery shopping (Target and Publix are just a mile west on hwy 192 (5 min from the house) and a Super Walmart is a bit farther west down hwy 192 and there's a marketplace literally on the corner of Fermosa Gardens and hwy 192 that is 3 min drive from the house). A 24 hour Starbucks is a 5 min drive east on hwy 192 from the house. Jim (owner) responded very promptly to every email I sent which was very reassuring and did everything to help make our stay enjoyable. Dee, the property manager was also great. She stopped by to address a small issue we had with the pool heater and had a pool technician at the house right away to fix it. There were 13 of us (5 adults and 8 kids) and the house was a perfect size. We all felt like we had our space. We had very young kids with us so the pool safety fence was perfect and also the covered deck area was so nice to get some shade from the hot sun. We recommend visiting a town called Celebration. It's about a 5-8 min drive south east of the house. Very cute "downtown" area that makes you feel like you're in a village - nice restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shop, farmers market, waterfront walking path, and a lovely fountain area on the sidewalk that my young kids used as a splashpad. It was a nice break from all the big box stores on the main drag. The Orlando Premium outlets are about a 10-15 min drive from the house if you like to shop. If you are travelling with a baby, there is a high chair and a safety gate you can use for the stairs and also a beautiful crib (we didn't use it as we had our own pack and play and there is a $50 charge for it - but it is nice!). I would highly recommend this place to all my family and friends - amazing location, beautiful house, very reasonably priced and the owner is such a pleasure to deal with!
