It's not in the heart of everything, and that's exactly why we chose it. It's a quiet suburban retreat after (very hot) excursions this time of year. The pool was a blessing as was the roofed portion of the patio when a quick storm blew through. The brand new barbeque was christened twice, as we Canadians love our BBQ.
Everything was as advertised and spotlessly clean. The layout of the home was perfect for two couples, or two families. The four bedrooms are two on either side of the house. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was loads of tourist magazines to review before each day's outing. Couches so comfy. Comfortable beds, too, and pillows. Laundry and dishwasher made for easy vacationing. Plus lots of towels for the pool.
We adored the wildlife every morning and evening poolside. Ibis, cranes, ducks, all came on over for a visit. It felt like they were coming to check out the new human visitors behind the screens. The large pond is chock full of turtles and large fish (not for fishing!) There are a few minor tears in the screens, but there were no bugs to bother us in the evening.
Highly recommend and we're checking our calendars to return next year.
