Good value, nice place, if a little tired

4 of 5
It's hard to get onto Duck Key for this price, and there are so many things included too. So, if you are looking for the catch, it's just that the place is a little tired. For example, there's TV's but none are flatscreen; there's free WiFi that is slow but okay, but no bluetooth speakers; the bathrooms have spare soaps, creams and all sorts, and they are big, but the fittings are from the 70s or 80s. For us it was great, as we don't care about all that stuff. We were able to rent a boat at Hawks Cay and bring up right up to the dock. We were able to cook and use the grill and enjoy the screened porch each night. There were loads of towels, great beds, and so many spices and spare ingredients, paper towels etc to make our lives really easy. Be aware there are no leaflets on what to do in the area, so do your research in advance.
