It's hard to see how a location could be much better than this one - a hop away from the beach, yet in its own way secluded; a couple of blocks away from busy Atlantic Avenue, yet quiet. And it's hard to imagine a cottage more charming, from the paintbox of colors inside and out to the tropical plants and flowers in the yard. All was clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable, the showers powerful, the kitchen well equipped. The back yard is secluded, perfect for catching up on your reading or an outdoor snooze. The grill, beach chairs and bikes were much appreciated. I suppose some people would prefer a condo in a building block, but this is the classic vacation cottage by the shore. Did two weeks of perfect Florida weather help? Of course. But how can anyone resist a place that's delightful enough for fiction?
