This unit is all about location, location, location! Our patio overlooked the pool and the Intracoastal, yet was private enough to enjoy dinner and sunsets without having a lot of "foot traffic" pass by. The condo community is small enough to get to know neighbors if you want to, yet everyone respects each others "space". The property manager, Jose, was friendly and gracious to deal with. While the unit itself is small and somewhat dated, it proved comfortable and cozy for the two of us. The kitchen is very small, but worked for the small amount of actual "cooking" we were interested in doing. (With all the great restaurants in Delray, it is hard to want to cook at all! We were an easy and lovely two block walk to the beach and to the Delray Beach town area. We were perhaps a 10-15 minute walk from the main Delray downtown area. We rarely got in the car and walked everywhere. Delray has a great free "ride service" and our place was within their route- while we never took advantage of this, it is another excellent feature of Tahiti Cove. There is also a local bus/trolley service (again - free!) with stops just a few blocks down on Atlantic Ave. In addition to the great beaches and activities in Delray, we loved the public library! For $10.00, they will issue a temporary library card (for three months)! Great and welcome surprise! The library also has many excellent programs to enjoy. The Farmers' Market is one of the best we've seen, and the art shows and Garlic Festivals were great, as always. The Cornell Museum was also a treat! We totally enjoyed our month at Unit 15 and have already signed on for next year. Can't wait!!!
