My husband and I stayed here in 2012 with my son, his wife and their 3 children. The condo was amazing and beautifully decorated! Pictures don't do it justice! We love to cook and the kitchen was a chef's dream. We were in contact with Brian before, during and after our vacation but were unable to meet with him the day of our arrival, which was fine. The woman at the front desk assisted us and was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and the condo was a big part of the reason. We had no problems until we left. We had paid a 300.00 deposit which we never received back. We left the condo in immaculate condition. We swept, mopped, made the beds and even washed all the towels and linens and left them folded. After we left Brian said we would receive our deposit in about a week. After 3 wks went by I text him and he said it was just an oversight, he had been extremely busy and would put the check in the mail. Another 2 wks went by and I text him again. I have never heard from him again. I tried calling and left messages but they were never returned. I just finally let it go. Our family had such a wonderful time and the condo was so beautiful that I felt paying the extra 300 was worth it. However I was disappointed that I never heard back from Brian because he had been so friendly and easy to reach up to this point. I would love to stay again and haven't read any other reviews of this happening to anyone else but I would still be a little worried.:( It's possible there was some type of family emergency and he just couldn't respond. At least that's what I like to think. Therefore I didn't let it take away from the fabulous time and memories we had on this vacation. We are going back to Daytona next yr and I am however worried about renting directly from an owner again.
