There's lots to like about this property. The location is great. Down the stairs/elevator, across the boardwalk (~60 yards) and you're on the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby (some in walking distance), as well as several supermarkets. It's about 1.4 miles up the beach to the Cocoa Beach pier, but only 1 block to iHop, DQ, and some good Mexican, Italian and Thai.
The unit itself was VERY nice. Clean, well maintained, spacious, everything in good working order, kitchen reasonably well appointed for cooking. They even had a decent set of kitchen knives (very unusual in rentals). The beds were all comfortable and the furnishings were all in very good condition. We especially appreciated the leather couch (unit 201) since leather doesn't get musty and humid in the ocean weather. The owners clearly spent some effort supplying many of the "little things" that make a rental vacation easier. Beach things, dishwasher and laundry soap, good quality linens and towels. Even a nice bottle of wine was there to greet us when we arrived.
The management did an outstanding job communicating with us and handled our one very minor problem (no cutting board in the kitchen) very quickly. Kudos to the management.
Even with all the units sold out during our stay, the place was fairly quiet. Not much noise coming through from the other units. The condo had a good supply of beach items that were available to share. Beach chairs, boogey boards, beach mats, etc. it was nice that we didn't need to lug any of that stuff from home.
Our only small complaints were the lack of a music system (gotta have music at the beach ;-)... Luckily we travel with some portable speakers that we can play from an ipod or computer) and that the unit did not have its own BBQ grill. There are shared grills by the pool, but we didn't find that very convenient.
Overall, we really enjoyed this rental and would definitely recommend it if Cocoa beach is in your travel plans.
