We were a family group of 8 including 3 children, staying in February 2015 for two weeks. The villa was a home from home! Well equipped, clean, well maintained, spacious and really comfortable. We were glad of the pool heating(paid extra) because the overnight temperatures dipped below 0C on a few occasions.
The ladies in the Club House were very helpful and we enjoyed the use of the computer/printer, pool table and crazy golf a few times.
Orlando has expanded and changed a lot since our last visit 2000, with new roads everywhere, and HUGE volumes of traffic. We got lost many times before buying a sat nav. Then life became so much easier and relaxed!
We bought most of our food from Walmart, just a half mile up the highway and ate in the villa. The best all-you-can-eat breakfast, about $8.50, was at the Golden Corral, about 5 miles up the hwy 192. We also loved the Sweet Tomato, all you can eat lunch and dinner $8-9...healthier option! on the 192. Not impressed with the food at the Irish Pub on the corner near the villa.
We visited all the main parks including Discovery Cove to swim with the dolphins. With three young children in tow we were quite restricted in how much we saw, and we know we missed a lot, but it was great fun anyway.
Viv Diball, the villa owner, was very helpful and informative and the booking process was easy. We would definately highly recommend this villa to anyone planning a visit to Orlando in the future.
