Very nice week

5 of 5
We spent a week in this venue to celebrate an anniversary milestone and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage was attractive, very clean and fully stocked. I mean, everything you could need. Great views from the terrace. A walk down Victoria Drive is a throwback to Florida's early 20th Century winter homes for northern rich folk. Location is great to explore downtown Dunedin on foot. Just a few blocks to downtown. Also, just a couple of miles to Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island, two of Florida's best beaches.

Condition of unit:

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was nice but there was still clutter in the closets belonging to the former owner, whom I understand is now deceased and her son owns the unit. Not a big problem but it could be cleared out without much trouble. All towels and bed sheets should be changed as still appears to be the old stuff from former owner. Bathrooms could use a refresher although they worked well. Upstairs carpet was old and dirty. Should be replaced. On the positive: nice living room and kitchen furnishings: good fridge, stove, microwave, table & chairs. Nice patio set on deck. Nice bed and furniture in master. Appeared to be new flooring on main level and on the smaller deck. Painting in rooms appeared to be quite fresh. Overall pleased with unit. Manager responded on 7/22/2014: All handled

Third time back :)

5 of 5
We just returned home from our third stay in this fantastic house. This time we had 5 wonderful weeks (dec-jan), and we just love this house. It is perfect in size for our 5 person family, has a heated pool (important during winter), perfect location with plenty to do within a short drive radius, and the house is very well maintained. Michal (the owner) is very easy to deal with by email, and Amy and Jimmy (the caretakers) keep the house very clean and are attentive to our every need. The area close to the house has numerous things to offer: plenty of parks with basketball, baseball, skating, BMX and swings/play areas. Within 5 minutes drive from the house you have Panera Bread, Starbucks, and the highly recommended Green Market Cafe. If you rent/bring a bike you can pick up Oldsmar trail from the house, bike on thru Safety Harbor with the wonderful Philippe Park, and then continue onto the Ream Wilson Trail. Roundtrip a 35km ( 21 miles) ride. With Tampa close by you have Lowry Park Zoo, Florida Aquarium, MOSI, Busch Gardens +++, then Legoland (1 hour drive) and Disneyworld/Seaworld/Universal Studio (2 hour + drive). We highly recommend this house, and are already planning our next stay.
