Good experience with owner

5 of 5
The owner of this condo couldn't have been nicer. He offered to help us learn our way around and answered all questions in a timely manner. Unfortunately due to poor health of my husband we were unable to make the trip. Mr Travis was most compassionate and immediately returned our money. We will try it again next year!

Orlando for birth of grandson

5 of 5
This was the first time I tried a privately owned vacation property. Loved it! The property was clean and comfortable. 2 bedrooms, 1 king size and 1 queen size. I think the other beds are pull out couches. It was only my husband and me. Carla sends instructions on how to access the house before you go. We had an assigned parking spot steps away from the front door. She provides dish network and wifi. My favorite room was the one that looked out on the pool. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to my daughters location. We will definitely be back whenever we visit my daughter. There was nothing in the refrigerator or freezer but there was some coffee and filters and teabags and plastic storage bags etc for use. Not very many places delivered food but we did find Vinzo's pizza which was excellent. I did most of our cooking at our daughters house but I loved having a kitchen for breakfast and snacks. We visited several different nonchain restaurants... Jimmy Hulu tacos in Lake Mary, Little Saigon vietnamese in Orlando and Polonia polish restaurant in Longwood. All were excellent. We also visited several museums... the art museum ( which was small but we used an hour there) and the childrens science museum on the same campus (which is interactive and geared for children). We would have visited several gardens and parks but it rained everyday. We did go to Daytona Beach in between rains. We ate at Crabby Joe's on the short pier and we walked on the beach in Ormond.
