IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GET AWAY FROM CROWDED BEACHES THIS IS THE PLACE

5 of 5
My family and I arrived and found the house clean and ready as we were promised it would be. The owner as well as the property manager contacted me to check that all was in order with no problems when we first arrived which was nice. The house was everything I expected and more! Plenty of room with a top deck outside the master bedroom that produced some of the most beautiful sunset views I've ever witnessed. The rooms were spacious and neat with everything a person needs to feel at home. The entertainment room had a large flat screen for movie viewing (which was a huge hit when the kids hooked up the Xbox) if you needed a break from the sun and beach. The pool outside was extremely nice with all the lounge chairs and amenities a family would need as well as a gas grill that we used quite a few times when we didn't feel like going out to the local eateries. The kitchen also was very nice with a full selection of all cooking utensils you would need to prepare meals for an entire family so you can leave everything at home. We had 8 people in our party (2 parents and 6 teenagers) and we had everything we needed as far as Beach towels and bath towels etc. already prepared and laid out for us. The beach was a very nice surprise, not crowded at all and it was a sixty second walk from our front door. I wasn't crazy about the idea of a road running in front the house, seperating the beach from the house but honestly it was my favorite part. The house is surrounded by palms and vegetation which kept us private from everything that was happening around us. We could sit on the porch and listen to the waves or watch the sunset and never see anyone or anything; I loved that part the most. Overall I loved the place and I will be booking another vacation soon.

IDEAL VACATION HOME FOR OUR FAMILY

5 of 5
We have rented vacation homes in Emerald Isle, Myrtle Beach, Fripp Island and Hilton Head. Aviva Captiva is definitely our new favorite. The property is both clean and spacious. The house was laid out perfectly for our family. We enjoyed the massive master suite away from the commotion while all our adult children and grand children spread out in the remaining bedrooms. We spent our days at the nearby beach sunning, shelling, swimming, and jet skiing. By afternoon we all were enjoying "Happy Hour" and appetizers poolside at the house. We all took turns preparing dinners on the Webber Grill and in the well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed was within walking distance including bars, restaurants, shopping and a marina where several manatees gathered every morning. One of the highlights of our trip was the day we rented a pontoon boat. We motored to Cabbage Key for a fabulous lunch then we ventured to our own secluded beach where we swam and fished (caught 3 Grouper) for hours. On the journey back to the marina we saw several schools of dolphins many of which swam near the boat. Aviva Captiva provided irreplaceable memories for our family and I highly recommend the property for your next family vacation.

PERFECT LITTLE HOUSE

5 of 5
I agree with all that has been said about this house. The outside spaces, both front and back, are wonderful with wooden decks, not just bare ground like many of the similar houses in the village. We had 2 adult couples which suited the house fine. I personally think that the inside living area would be a little tight for 6 unrelated adults, but the large outdoor spaces make up the difference. It is one of the best equipped rental houses we have stayed in, with great beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a beach wagon. The mosquitos and noseeums were almost non-existant which was very surprising for a house with such beautiful lush vegetation. The hot tube was great. We rented through the realty company without any contact with the owner...everything was as smooth as could be. The washer and dryer are outside under an overhang next to the house, but it is no problem. Overall a great little house that I recommend wholeheartedly.
