GOOD 4 BDRM

4 of 5
This home is almost exactly as the photos depict except that the "den" is the 5th bedroom...which means you have a pullout sofa for the bed in a room off the front door entrance hall and across from the living room. The twin bedroom is an open loft to the kitchen below so it is loud and brightly lit if any downstairs lights are in use. The pool furniture is not as depicted either...the table and chairs are the same but there is a sectional sofa lounge vs. the chaise lounge chairs shown in the photo. Also the upper deck had two chaise lounge chairs and no sofa or easy chairs. These were the deviations from the photos based on our stay this past March. The home is nicely decorated and very serviceable with easy access to the beach. However, the 'surprise' of not having five bedrooms AND the fact that the 4th bedroom had a open half-wall to 1st floor made it not a great option for our teenage daughters.

UTAH VISITORS

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo. Being right across the road from a very private beach, was wonderful. As there are no parking spots in the immediate vicinity, you almost have the beach to yourself. We had some rainy weather, but this home was so nice, that being stuck inside for a day was a pleasure. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area. We loved the Mucky Duck, Doc Ford's and the Green Flash. Just an fyi…if you arrive after dark, it's a bit difficult to find…after that first time though, no problems. Loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have the ocean "right there" and be in a beautiful home. P.S. LOVED the towels!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT CONDO

5 of 5
We stayed 9 nights in November 2013. Bill was really great to deal with, very fast to respond to queries and sort out our booking. We were lucky the weather was perfect and the previous week the beach restoration had been completed following storm damage earlier in the year. The apartment had been completely redecorated and new carpets laid the previous week and new covers on the seating (the pictures on the internet are now dated). The lanai was great and we spent a lot of time watching the antics of the ospreys competing for the nest directly in front of the apartment. There were more ospreys than I have ever seen before in Captiva. There was nothing in front of the apartment except palm trees, the opsrey nest and the sea. The pool is off to the right, not directly in front of the apartment and quiet when we were there. We hired bikes for a week from Yolos next to the Mucky Duck so we cycled all round Captiva and South Seas. A number of manatees were still in the South Seas marina plus the regular dolphin sweeping up the fish in the harbour entrance. There was even a baby alligator in the lake in front of the car park for 3 days. We had an amazing trip on the Lady Chadwick with a number of dolphins swimming and jumping with the boat for most of the time we were out. Wifi worked fine and new televisions in all the rooms. There were Tommy Bahamas chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach Everyone in South Seas very friendly. We are hoping to book again his year
