Perfect

5 of 5
What a great place to stay. When booking the house, Bob was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to any questions that we had. The house was wonderful and the perfect getaway for us. We wanted a home away from home and some privacy which this gave us. We went many nights to the local restaurants (all within walking distance or an easy bike ride - bikes are well worth renting) but also enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. The house is tucked away and even on the odd rainy afternoon we enjoyed being inside- reading on the terrace, watching tv or researching the island using the fast internet connection or by leafing through Bob's wide collection of books and local guides. Jensen's, Gordy's dock and the beach were true highlights for us. Captiva is so special and the house, well-maintained, clean, large and accessible, really added to our experience. Thanks Bob and family for sharing with us- an experience we'll never forget!

Villa Sea Dreams......A Vacation Utopia

5 of 5
I stayed here with my husband and we had an amazing time. The Townhome is lovely, spacious, clean and very updated. It had everything we needed from beautiful furniture to updated appliances. We really miss looking at the ocean while having breakfast, as well as the magnificent sunsets that Captiva is known for. This review would not be complete without mentioning the owner, Dan. We've rented several vacation homes, but never came across an owner as caring and pleasant as Dan. He really goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy every second of your stay in his home. This was the second vacation villa that we rented from Dan. Last year we stayed at Dan's other Captiva property, Sunset Dreams, and we just booked our 2015 summer vacation with him!

IDEAL VACATION HOME FOR OUR FAMILY

5 of 5
We have rented vacation homes in Emerald Isle, Myrtle Beach, Fripp Island and Hilton Head. Aviva Captiva is definitely our new favorite. The property is both clean and spacious. The house was laid out perfectly for our family. We enjoyed the massive master suite away from the commotion while all our adult children and grand children spread out in the remaining bedrooms. We spent our days at the nearby beach sunning, shelling, swimming, and jet skiing. By afternoon we all were enjoying "Happy Hour" and appetizers poolside at the house. We all took turns preparing dinners on the Webber Grill and in the well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed was within walking distance including bars, restaurants, shopping and a marina where several manatees gathered every morning. One of the highlights of our trip was the day we rented a pontoon boat. We motored to Cabbage Key for a fabulous lunch then we ventured to our own secluded beach where we swam and fished (caught 3 Grouper) for hours. On the journey back to the marina we saw several schools of dolphins many of which swam near the boat. Aviva Captiva provided irreplaceable memories for our family and I highly recommend the property for your next family vacation.
