The best home on the cape for 2-8 guests

5 of 5
This was our third trip to Siren's Song since 2011. We have come to feel that this is "home away from home" when we visit the Cape---Superlatives fall short in describing the wonderful layout of the home with the gogeous Master suite downstairs (you could almost live in the bathroom it is so large) and the two bedrooms with en-suite adjoining bath across the hall. This house has windows galore and the light fills the rooms as you gaze at the turquoise gulf. We spotted dolphins cavorting off the beach with our binoculars and loved to sit at the deck bar for either coffee in the morning or cocktails in the afternoon. The new pool is delightful---plenty big for a cooling dip after a hot day on the sand. My wife and I love the huge windows in the master suite upstairs and the well appointed kitchen. Last but not least, Teresa has been a great host to work with--responsive and thorough and genuinely concerned about all her guest's experiences. The weather the week we visited was the best ever--highs in the low 80's, low humidity with cool nights---ideal. As always the fishing in St. Joe Bay and right off the beach in front of the house was superb--flounder, sea trout, whiting, and a huge red. Also check our Seahorse charters for a pontoon rental and spend a day on the bay--Siren's Song is and continues to be our first choice n beach rental homes.

Family vacation

4 of 5
This was our second family vacation in Cape San Blas. Our family likes the quiet beautiful beach even the 15 and 17 year old teenagers enjoyed the tranquility along with the 2 1/2 year and 7 month old little ones. The house itself was very nice except the kitchen is a little small and needs some restocking of kitchen necessities. The bedrooms are very generous and the beds are very comfortable. Sitting on the deck and watch the sun go down and look at all the stars later on was a nighty ritual. Two nights we made a fire at the beach and enjoyed the night with s'mores and some beverage. The only complain I have is towards the rental company who is in charge of cleaning the house and fixing repairs. The refrigerator was doused with Clorox to a point where we had to wipe it out our selfs so we could put our groceries in it. We needed to vacuum the dog hair from the previous renter of the only carpet in the house and replaced lightbulb in all the table lights. The dining chairs needed to be fixed after one leg of the chair broke and send my husband flying others where not stable either. We found sand and clothing items under sofas and dressers. After talking to the ladies at the office of costal joe to voice my concern I got only a "oh, I'm sorry". If this would be my house I would be very upset that it is not taking better care off. All in all the house is great and I would recommend it since the area is so beautiful and hopefully it will be better taken care of.

PERFECT VACATION

5 of 5
THE CONDO WAS PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY OF 5. WHEN WE WALKED IN AFTER AN 8 HOUR DRIVE, IT WAS THE AAHHH MOMENT. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN, SMELLED NICE. THE KITCHEN HAD EVERYTHING A COOK COULD ASK FOR AND ALL THE PANS WERE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE BEDS, FURNISHINGS, TVS WERE ALL VERY NICE. THE SCREENED PORCHES WERE VERY NICE WITH COMFORTABLE FURNISHINGS. THE CONDO WAS VERY QUIET, NEVER HEARD ANY OUTSIDE NOISE. THE ENTIRE COMPLEX WAS VERY QUIET AND WELL MAINTAINED. THE WALK OVER THE BOARDWALK TO THE BEACH WAS NOT A PROBLEM, THANKS TO THE BEACH WAGON PROVIDED BY THE OWNERS. LOTS OF BEACH CHAIRS AND BICYCLES AVAILABLE FOR OUR USE. THE BEACHES WERE NOT CROWDED AND THE WATER WAS SO CALM YOU COULD FLOAT AND NOT DRIFT AWAY. LARRANE CALLED TO CHECK ON US WHEN WE ARRIVED. NEVER NEEDED TO CALL HER, CUZ EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!!
