Just kick back and relax

5 of 5
If you want to just kick back and relax, this is the place for you. Sit on the lanai and watch the Manatee in the bayou. Walk out on the patio and take a dip in the pool or relax in the spa. Beautiful, spacious, well maintained home with every amenity you could want. Great place for a couple, a large family or anything in between Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. DeSoto National Monument (a great place to walk) is a mile away. Also, check out the Robinson Nature Preserve with several miles of hiking trails and the Palma Sola Botanical Park. Both are a few miles away and are highly recommended for anyone who enjoys walking. Anna Maria Island is a quick 15 minute drive away. There you will find great beaches and fantastic restaurants. Bradenton area is one of the best kept secrets on the Gulf. Plenty to see and do, literally something for everyone. Great affordable seafood restaurants. Beautiful beaches with lots of public access. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks. I'm already making plans to go back next year. One caveat: Pool is not fenced so I so would not recommend to families with young children.

Perfect Vacation House

5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Cove, the villa has everything you could need and feels very homely. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for us all, we all loved the pool and the views over the lake. Lots of exciting wildlife to spot! The beds were very comfortable and there is plenty of closet space. We had one issue while we were there and it was addressed immediately and no fault to anyone, the management company are excellent. Its a 5 minute drive to Cortez Beach or 15 minutes up to Anna Maria Beach and about 25 minutes to Siesta Key. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets to choose from along the main road. All in all a lovely stay, we will return!

Wonderful Family and Friends Vacation

5 of 5
The house was exactly as it is described on the internet. It has everything you will need and more! It is very well maintained and if you have any concerns at all the property manager is right on it. We had a couple of days of really hard rain and I called him to check out the pool and he came right out and we were swimming again that evening. What was nice was that even tho it was raining, we still got to sit out by the pool because it is enclosed. We had 16 people and had plenty of places to sit together out there. The house is really laid out nice and the rooms are big. Everyone said how comfortable the beds were also. Everyone did their own thing ....some did the beach and others liked to just stay home by the pool. Some of us went to breakfast every morning to the Olympic Cafe on Manatee Ave. This was a great place to eat and we even went back for dinner a couple of nights. It is a little Greek Restaurant that has really good food and friendly people. We also went to Pier 22, Riverwalk, Ellenton Outlets, Red Barn, Mixin's, and down the coast to Venice and Siesta Key. There is so much to do in this area. The owner has a basket with all kinds of things to see and do on the dining room table...be sure to go through it and you will find some pretty interesting things to do. Someone in our group caught a bullhead and a big mouth bass right off the tiki hut. His son is a chef so we had them for dinner! What great memories we will all have! Carol, the owner, is awesome! She always answered my questions whenever I called and even let me see the house while we were in Florida in January. She even called after we got in to make sure everything was ok. I would recommend this property to everyone. It is set up for small kids, handicapped, and teens. There is always something to do. Pool, table tennis, books to read, even when it rains, you can keep busy. Thank you Carol for letting us enjoy your home and I look forward to checking with you in the future to see if you can put us up again.
